Episode 23 recap: A Complicated Family Drama
In episode 23, Little Hua's father secretly bought an art album and brought it home, but was discovered by his wife, leading to an argument between the two. When Little Hua returned home, she learned that her school was opening an art class, and she mustered the courage to bring it up to her mother, but was met with a refusal. This caused a heated argument between the mother and daughter.
Afterwards, Little Hua's father took out his savings to support her enrollment in an art training class, and reached a consensus with the mother.
To hide the fact that she was attending an art class from her mother, Little Hua and her friends planned a scheme where her friend Qingqing would attend the school's art club in her place.
However, Little Hua's actions were discovered by her mother, who mistakenly thought that Little Hua was in an early romance, and proceeded to follow and track her, only to see her with Ling Dong.
In the evening, Little Hua was questioned by her parents, and she honestly explained her relationships with Ling Dong and Lan Jing Hui, as well as the real situation about her supplementary classes.
