Episode 5 recap: Xiao Yao left the wedding with Xiang Liu.
Just as Xiao Yao's wedding to Chi Shui Feng Long reached its critical moment, Tu Shan Jing hid in the shadows, tears silently sliding down her face, her heart feeling as if it was being torn apart. Just as the bride and groom were about to perform the ceremony, a hurried sound of footsteps broke the tranquility of the scene. Xiang Liu barged in like a sudden gust of wind and directly requested that Xiao Yao abandon the wedding.
Xiao Yao's gaze flashed with a hint of struggle, but she ultimately shook her head firmly and demanded that Xiang Liu leave immediately. Xiang Liu did not give up, solemnly reminding Xiao Yao of the vow they had once made. This sentence was like a bolt from the blue, causing Xiao Yao's face to instantly turn pale.
