Episode 34 recap: Zhang Hai Chao Resigns to Go to the US to Save Huang Lin Xi
In episode 34, Huang Lin Xi returned from the US, still preoccupied with the issue concerning her mentor. She took the opportunity to chat with Ye Cui. During their conversation, a big news broke out - Ye Cui revealed that Zhang Hai Chao had borrowed a substantial amount of money from her for the company's expansion, which Huang Lin Xi was unaware of before.
Coincidentally, Huang Zhong Kai, who lived next door, overheard their conversation and discovered how close the two families were. He then tried to extract information from Huang Lin Xi about Zhang Hai Chao's current situation. Huang Lin Xi advised him to let the past go, but Huang Zhong Kai couldn't let go of the grudge, feeling that Zhang Hai Chao's success was partly due to his own push in the past.

Ye Cui couldn't stand it anymore, and hired a lawyer for Huang Lin Xi, but the lawyer said that to save herself, it would be best for her to divorce Zhang Hai Chao. Zhang Hai Chao couldn't sleep at night, and the next day he went to find Li Dong Sheng to reflect deeply.
