Episode 10 recap: Liu Qi Meng Discovers That Sun Kai is the Little Monkey King
In Episode 10, Sun Bai Fen, feeling discomfort in her neck, accidentally wandered into Yan Yan's traditional Chinese medicine clinic. She saw Yan Yan meditating and gently woke him up, hoping he could treat her. Yan Yan was very kind and carefully adjusted Sun Bai Fen's neck, immediately relieving her pain.
He also noticed she was wearing slippers and worried she might catch a cold, so he had her change into his own therapy slippers. He even gave her some tea to help regulate her body. Sun Bai Fen was touched by Yan Yan's thoughtfulness and care, although she didn't quite understand the feelings stirring within her for this stranger in traditional Chinese medicine.
Moving on to Liu Qi Meng, she wanted to learn mahjong, thinking it might help with her dance troupe's projects. She learned many tips and tricks from her grandmother Liu Xiu Ying, feeling she had grasped the essence of the game. Eager to put her skills to the test, she challenged her neighbors, only to suffer one loss after another. Everyone began suspecting there might be a mole among them.
In the end, Liu Qi Meng was utterly defeated, forced to admit her grandmother Liu Xiu Ying's mahjong prowess was still unmatched, and she herself was still a novice.
During a meeting, Wang Yi Ming's wife suddenly called him. Worried it might be bad news, he quickly had Zhang You Zhi take the call, pretending he was in a meeting. However, Wang Yi Ming's wife heard Liu Qi Meng's voice and became even angrier, threatening to go complain to Zhang You Zhi's mother.
To promote their project, Zhang You Zhi and Liu Qi Meng went out to the streets for a demonstration. But Liu Xiu Ying constantly looked down on Zhang You Zhi, calling him a "backdoor dog," making him very uncomfortable.
Wang Yi Ming's wife finally tracked him down and scolded him harshly, suspecting an improper relationship between him and Liu Qi Meng. Wang Yi Ming quickly explained and promised his wife was the only one he loved, but she still decided to teach Liu Qi Meng a lesson to warn her.
Meanwhile, during the promotion, a person in a frog costume cut in line, angering Liu Xiu Ying. She gave the person a beating, only to discover it was Wang Yi Ming's wife. Liu Xiu Ying became even more enraged and attacked her even more fiercely.
This has caused quite a commotion, with everyone gathering around to witness the spectacle. Who knows what will happen next.
