Episode 13 recap: Sun Bai Fen and Liang Liang's Relationship Progresses
In episode 13, Yuan Chang Jiang rushed to the hospital for a check-up, and the news wasn't good - the cancer cells had spread again. However, he's a stubborn old man, keeping his discomfort to himself. He quietly confided in his old barber friend Wang, not wanting his neighbors to know and look at him with pity, as he's always tried to act cool in life.
On the other hand, Liu Qi Meng led a group of spirited grandmothers to bargain with Teacher Lu. Ah Fang, a master negotiator, engaged in a war of words and managed to get the hourly tuition fee slashed from 500 to just 50 dollars. The grandmothers were thrilled, praising Ah Fang's bargaining prowess.
What they didn't know was that Liu Qi Meng had already privately communicated with Teacher Lu beforehand, and would secretly make up the difference. Teacher Lu was an easygoing person and went along with it. The grandmothers were elated, already planning how to divide the prize money.
As for the dance troupe's name, Liu Qi Meng came up with "Five Thousand People Dance Troupe," which the group unanimously approved of.
