Episode 16 recap: Xiao Jing Whale Gets Food Poisoning from Barbecue, Restaurant Gets Vandalized
In Episode 16, the friendly match after the training camp resulted in Xingang team unexpectedly beating the Sports University team, making Lu Xiaole ecstatic. All she could think about was the dinner treat that Tian Qing promised. But just as Li Guoduo was reveling in the victory, Chen Weilan threw cold water on her, saying that the Sports University team had purposely held back. Tian Qing chatted with Tu Lingling about the match, and the straightforward Tu Lingling admitted that Chen Weilan's skills were indeed excellent, but Li Guoduo still lacked experience, and the two of them barely won the match as a pair.
Tu Lingling also mentioned Yan Xiaojing and Mo Xixi, saying that their individual skills were not weak, but they lacked tactical coordination, so she was very confident about the Seven-School Tournament.
As soon as the training at Yuzhou Island ended, Li Guoduo dragged Shaonian to the hospital to visit Li Dafu. While discussing Coach Lu's training methods, Li Guoduo shook her head, saying that it was completely different from what she had imagined - all physical training, with hardly any tactics.

At the hospital, Yan Xiaojing looked pale and was still not letting up, accusing Li Guoduo's family of running a shady restaurant. Infuriated, Li Guoduo turned to leave, but Shaonian quickly explained that there could be many reasons for diarrhea, and it didn't necessarily mean a problem with the food.
Seeing Yan Xiaojing's agitated state, Xia Liqiang asked her to calm down first, but Yan Xiaojing thought he was no longer concerned about her, insisting that Mo Xixi take her back to school.

When Li Guoduo returned home and saw the chaos, she immediately started recording video evidence. After Du Weilong and the others left, everyone was busy cleaning up the mess. Shaonian accidentally cut his leg, and Li Guoduo felt deeply sorry, carefully helping him apply medication. The atmosphere suddenly became a bit delicate, and Shaonian gazed at Li Guoduo intently, prompting her to quickly find something to say and break the awkwardness.
Mo Xixi scolded Du Weilong harshly after finding out he had caused trouble. Li Guoduo happened to come to the school and Mo Xixi apologized, saying she was just venting and didn't expect Du Weilong to actually go and cause a scene. Li Guoduo firmly stated that the ingredients at her family's barbecue restaurant were absolutely clean and sanitary, and she would pursue legal responsibility against Du Weilong.
