Episode 11 recap: Tuxiao Ning's Jealousy
In Episode 11, Tang Yuhua initially wanted to accompany Rao Jing, but Ji Yuheng, considering that Rao Jing was already with Tu Xiao Ning, assigned Tang Yuhua to someone else. Tang Yuhua and Tu Xiao Ning had crossed paths at the bank before, and Tang Yuhua wanted Tu Xiao Ning's help, but was turned down.
At the group dinner, Tang Yuhua tried to mend their relationship, specifically choosing an upscale restaurant. At the dinner table, Tang Yuhua and Tu Xiao Ning both happened to have their eyes on the same dish, and Tang Yuhua graciously let Tu Xiao Ning have it. She also frequently served dishes to Ji Yuheng, which made Tu Xiao Ning feel uneasy.
Zhao Fanggang brought up the grudge between Tu Xiao Ning and Lu Sijing, and even offered to introduce a date for Tu Xiao Ning. Tu Xiao Ning impulsively agreed, which caused Ji Yuheng to become visibly upset and pull Tu Xiao Ning aside to question her. Tang Yuhua interrupted them, and Ji Yuheng had to return to the table.
Zhao Fanggang, already drunk, accidentally got into Rao Jing's car, and Rao Jing had no choice but to drive him home. After everyone had left, Ji Yuheng wanted to wait for Tu Xiao Ning to leave together, but was stopped by Tang Yuhua. Feeling misunderstood, Tu Xiao Ning left on her own.
On her way home, Tu Xiao Ning couldn't stop thinking about Ji Yuheng and Tang Yuhua, feeling like she might have become a substitute for someone else. At home, she vented to her best friend Ling Weiyi and even posted on social media, wondering if she needed to change her image to become the kind of person Ji Yuheng would like. Little did she know, she was already Ji Yuheng's favorite.
Knowing Tu Xiao Ning would be upset, Ji Yuheng stayed up late to make brown sugar water and left it at her doorstep. Tu Xiao Ning took it home, but still felt uneasy. Zhao Fanggang, still persistent, tried to set up a blind date for Tu Xiao Ning, and seeing Ji Yuheng and Tang Yuhua dining with clients only made her angrier.
Ji Yuheng saw Tu Xiao Ning about to leave and quickly stopped her, wanting to explain, but Tu Xiao Ning wouldn't listen. He had to first send Zhao Fanggang away, then promised to come find Tu Xiao Ning as soon as he finished his dinner. Feeling petty, Tu Xiao Ning insisted on going on the blind date, leaving Ji Yuheng anxious like an ant on a hot pan.
Meanwhile, Zhao Fanggang drove the intoxicated Rao Jing home, and the atmosphere between them was rather delicate. Tang Yuhua couldn't find Tu Xiao Ning and got worried, only to find that Tu Xiao Ning had left on her own. Tu Xiao Ning's mind was a mess, concerned that speaking up would ruin her relationship with Ji Yuheng.
When Ji Yuheng returned home, he was relieved to find Tu Xiao Ning asleep. In his hand, he had a doll with Tu Xiao Ning's likeness, especially the way she tied her hair. These secrets, Tu Xiao Ning was still unaware of.
