Curiously, Awei, being Bao Ying's close friend, remained unusually calm in the face of this sudden disappearance, a tranquility that unsettled Yu Xing Bai, leaving him to suspect that something was amiss.
Bao Ying's vanishing act was like a drop of water falling into the sea, leaving no ripples behind. Her name was quietly added to the list of missing persons in Japan.
Yu Xing Bai's heart was filled with grief and anxiety, as he prayed each day and night for a miracle to bring Bao Ying back to him.
Meanwhile, in Hong Kong, the police force was facing a series of troubling cases. First, there was the tragic incident that shocked the city - the 18-year-old Chai Chi Chung had fallen from a footbridge, his body broken beyond recognition. Initially, it was assumed to be a suicide, but the forensic team's investigation revealed a startling discovery - the boy had actually been electrocuted by urine! This shocking revelation left everyone deeply saddened and contemplating the fragility of life.
Before the dust could settle, another case emerged. TV host 000121 was live-streaming a search for a lost dog in an abandoned factory, when she stumbled upon a male corpse - the body of Huang Shu-sen, the owner of Som Rek Tea Restaurant. At first glance, it appeared to be a suicide due to debt, but the keen-eyed forensic expert Fan Pei Qing sensed something amiss, convinced that this was a carefully orchestrated murder case, not a simple suicide.
As the forensics department delved into the investigation, Yu Xing Bai joined the efforts, utilizing his expertise and keen observation to question the positioning of the victim. A series of tests and simulations followed, as the case grew increasingly complex, each clue leading them deeper into a labyrinth of mysteries.
