Episode 21 recap: Li Zhi Wei Brings in a Professional Team
Li Qian Ping talks to Li Han about Li Zhang Huan's efforts, expressing concern that he's doing too much. Li Han believes Li Zhang Huan is simply a charismatic person, but Li Qian Ping disagrees. Li Han is unsure what to say.Li Zhi Wei proposes forming a company to Zheng Wei Long, who objects, arguing that their mission is to provide aid, not start a business. Li Zhi Wei counters that the world is constantly evolving and they need to adapt to progress, or their aid project will fail. Zheng Wei Long suggests gathering everyone to get their opinions.
Li Chun Hua and Li Han arrive, with Li Han opposing the idea and Li Chun Hua supporting it. The vote is tied, so they need Li Zhang Huan's decision.
Jeffrey visits the mushroom farm and is impressed by the progress. He explains to Li Zhi Wei that their company will focus on promoting the mushrooms, selling the mushroom bags to farmers, and buying back the grown mushrooms for marketing and distribution. Farmers won't have to worry about selling their produce.
Li Zhang Huan finds the idea appealing. Li Zhi Wei proposes focusing on producing the mushroom bags and guiding farmers on cultivation, leaving the rest to a professional team. Li Zhang Huan emphasizes that they cannot deviate from the core principles of foreign aid and poverty alleviation, and Li Zhi Wei promises to uphold that.
Yu Jiang arrives, and Li Zhang Huan informs him that Li Qian Ping and his wife had sought him out. He reveals that the model is complete. Li Qian Ping is shocked, expressing her fear for Li Zhang Huan and Li Zhi Wei's safety, as they've both faced danger. She confesses her sleepless nights worrying about them.
Li Zhang Huan and the others finally understand Li Qian Ping's anxieties.
Jeffrey's company was established and they sold all the mushrooms from this harvest. Nicaragua called everyone together, saying they should celebrate their success as everyone had made money. He suggested holding the celebration at his house.
Li Zhi Wei agreed to celebrate but suggested holding it at their mushroom farm. Zheng Wei Long came out and expressed his confusion about the need for a celebration. Li Zhi Wei explained that Nicaragua and Visan were running for office and the celebration was a way to build support for Nicaragua. Zheng Wei Long felt they shouldn't be involved in politics, but Li Zhi Wei argued that they couldn't completely avoid it, which is why he proposed holding the celebration at the farm.
Zheng Wei Long talked to Dr. Xu about it, who felt it was inappropriate for him to be bringing this up. Zheng Wei Long insisted that the whole situation shouldn't exist.
Hans, Martha's ex-husband, came looking for her, wanting to get back together. Martha told him to leave and gave him money, and he went away. Li Zhi Wei and the others learned that Hans was harassing Martha because she was making money. They realized this couldn't continue, but Martha didn't know what to do.
Someone got sick after eating the mushrooms, and Li Zhi Wei thought it must be a misunderstanding. He went to Visan and asked if he was responsible. Visan said that Li Zhi Wei and the others needed to leave Nicaragua's tribe and come to his tribe to help him get elected as a council member.
