Episode 17 recap: Qiu Zhichang Requests to Meet with Lin Qiang
In episode 17, Yuan Guankui is usually quite carefree, but when it comes to work, he is very meticulous. Hao Wei looks down on him as a mere deputy manager, thinking he only got the position because of his uncle Qin Zheng's connections. Hao Wei even made Yuan Guankui serve meals in the bank. However, Yuan Guankui provided Hao Wei with some feasible suggestions, but not only did Hao Wei not accept them, he also scolded Yuan Guankui harshly and forced him to go to Lin Qiang's Dragon Source branch.
Upset, Yuan Guankui went to see Qin Zheng. He wanted to go back to Lin Qiang's place, but Qin Zheng advised him to be patient with Hao Wei's bad temper. He said the Dragon Source branch would be merged into Hao Wei's Dragon Source Central branch in two months, and Lin Qiang wouldn't have a future there, so Yuan Guankui reluctantly gave up.

Hao Wei went to see Chen Xingyan, but he avoided meeting him. Hao Wei had to go to Qin Zheng instead. Chen Xingyan had Qin Zheng tell Hao Wei that the branch would no longer provide any support to the Dragon Source Central branch, and the merger with Lin Qiang's branch could only be considered after the 3-month deadline was up.
Lin Qiang was determined to cooperate with Huayu Bank. He had Zhu Fengshan act on his behalf, and Mo Xijun, representing Huayu Bank, asked Zhu Fengshan a few questions, which he answered one by one.
