Episode 9 recap: Hao Wei Submits Evidence to Lin Qiang
In episode 9, Lin Xiao Zao and her friends Xiao Xiao and the others were secretly plotting to illegally obtain credit cards from card dealers to earn some pocket money. However, this plan was exposed to Lin Qiang by Zhang Jia Ming. When Lin Qiang found out, he was displeased and decided to teach them a lesson, requiring them to repay the money they earned in installments within a year.
This decision naturally displeased the young ladies, and their relationship with Lin Qiang became strained as a result.
On the other hand, it was Ling Le Le's birthday, and the household was lively. Lin Qiang brought his friend Zheng Shuai along. Zheng Shuai's tall and handsome appearance immediately became the center of attention, especially for Ling Le Le, who clung to him joyfully. Lin Qiang, meanwhile, took the opportunity to quietly ask Xia Xin about the progress on the Wenhui Group's predatory loan issue.
When Xia Xin saw the content of the whistleblowing email, her expression changed, and she quickly advised Lin Qiang to stay calm and not act rashly.
During this period, Lin Qiang had been receiving anonymous emails containing evidence of Wenhui Group's shady dealings. He handed over all the information to Xia Xin, puzzled as to how the person behind this knew so much about him. Just then, Chen Xing Yuan came to recruit him, and Xia Xin reminded Lin Qiang to be cautious, warning him not to become someone else's pawn.
At the party, Ling Le Le and her friends surrounded Zheng Shuai and plied him with alcohol, and he soon passed out. Lin Qiang then took the opportunity to examine Zheng Shuai's face, discussing the standards of true handsomeness.
When Zheng Shuai regained consciousness, he showed a particular interest in the email issue, and the two had a conversation about it.
At this critical juncture, Hao Wei appeared, holding the deep secrets of the Wenhui Group. With nowhere else to turn, he entrusted all the information to Lin Qiang, hoping he could turn the situation around.
However, Lin Qiang's investigation revealed that Hao Wei was not the one who sent the emails. The investigation reached another impasse.
But Lin Qiang was no pushover. Using his own skills, he sifted through a pile of data and identified several high-quality clients, even helping to close a major deal.
While Xiao Xiao watched with envy, Lin Qiang asked her to continue monitoring the credit card situation. At this time, news came that Zhang Long Chu had been extradited back to the country, and Lin Qiang received a mysterious phone call, rushing off to Hong Kong without further ado.
In Hong Kong, Luo Sha tried to extract information about Lin Qiang's whereabouts from Zheng Shuai, but failed, only arousing Zheng Shuai's suspicion of her and the Wenhui Group.
Back at the bank, Chen Xing Yuan urgently called a meeting to discuss the impact of the Wenhui Group issue on the United Bank. Lin Qiang arrived late, but when he did, he dropped a bombshell, laying out the evidence on the table, causing an uproar in the meeting room. Luo Sha accused Lin Qiang of inaction, but Xia Xin immediately stepped up to defend him.
Afterwards, Lin Qiang directly confronted Qian Cai, who pretended to be innocent, claiming to have no connection to the Wenhui Group and even trying to drag Lin Qiang down with him. Lin Qiang was not fooled, and on his way back to the branch, he was met by a woman claiming to be his girlfriend, Hu Xiao, causing a citywide commotion and a series of misunderstandings, even leaving Lin Xiao Zao feeling uneasy.
