Episode 11 recap: # Endless Connections
In Episode 11, Shen Jian Dong is eager to learn what has happened to Shen Xing during his absence. Guo Li Min fills him in on the situation, suggesting that Shen Jian Dong might be right—Shen Xing has indeed changed.When Shen Jian Dong sees Uncle Li's body hanging from a tree outside the work shed, he feels like crying but can't. At that moment, he realizes just how much he has changed. Setting Shen Jian Dong aside, Guo Li Min believes that staying in Sanbianpo is a good choice for Shen Xing, especially since not everyone can follow Cai Shu.
Sanbianpo is undoubtedly dangerous, but with danger comes opportunity. That night, Shen Xing approaches Cai Shu. Despite still owing money, Cai Shu agrees to let Shen Xing return to his home country. Cai Shu leaves him with a thought: "Endless connections, never interrupted; body, speech, and mind should not tire."
Dan Tuo drives Shen Xing and his uncle to a small alley in Bomo. Cai Shu does not set a deadline for Shen Xing's repayment; he holds the construction contract and business license as collateral. The remaining debt can be paid off gradually. Dan Tuo can only take them this far, as he needs to later escort Cai Shu to a dinner with President Chen Hao of Xianglong International.
When they arrive at Xianglong International, Dan Tuo receives a call informing him that Wu Hai Shan will not be attending. Cai Shu instructs Xiao Chai Dao and Dan Tuo to wait outside while he goes in with the dog. Upon entering, they discover that President Chen Hao is nowhere to be found; it's a trap orchestrated by Mao Pan.
Outside, Dan Tuo and Xiao Chai Dao are knocked out. Mao Pan threatens Cai Shu with Dan Tuo's life, but Ai Suo's bottom line is four points. Just as Dan Tuo is nearly drowned, President Chen Hao arrives in a panic. Afterward, Chen Hao, furious, slaps Mao Pan several times. Mao Pan's mother cries and argues, while Chen Hao scolds her for not handling her own affairs properly.
Wu Hai Shan visits Dan Tuo in the hospital and explains to Cai Shu that Shen Xing called him to warn about the danger. That’s why he contacted President Chen Hao. After a moment of silence, Cai Shu reveals that Shen Xing has returned to the country.
A few hours earlier, Shen Xing and Shen Jian Dong went through immigration checks together. Shen Jian Dong's passport had no issues, and he passed through smoothly. However, Shen Xing, who has previously been on a wanted list and was sued by Ba Zi Ge for debt—though he has since paid—still faces unresolved charges, preventing him from leaving. Since Shen Jian Dong has already crossed the border, he must return home alone, while Shen Xing remains in Sanbianpo.
Shen Xing learns by chance that Jue Xin Tun encountered Chen Hao from the Xianglong Chamber of Commerce at the Ministry of Health in Qu Peng, and they are scheduled to socialize with officials from the Ministry that evening. Shen Xing realizes something is wrong; according to Dan Tuo, Chen Hao should be dining with Cai Shu at Daqulin tonight.
He immediately tries to contact Dan Tuo, but the call doesn’t go through. Then, Shen Xing calls Wu Hai Shan, which leads to Wu Hai Shan notifying Chen Hao about the situation, prompting Chen Hao to intervene and prevent Mao Pan from committing murder. Later, Chen Hao personally goes to the hospital to apologize to Cai Shu, covering all of Dan Tuo's medical expenses through the Xianglong Chamber of Commerce.
Because of this incident, Chen Hao is left short-handed and reluctantly agrees to the four-point deal. To show his sincerity, he goes to Maniu Town to sign a contract with Ai Suo. As a middleman, he facilitates a significant business deal, but Dan Tuo is severely injured, and Cai Shu gains little from it.
With his capable assistant Dan Tuo gone, Shen Xing also returns home, leaving behind a foolish and incompetent brother-in-law, Xiao Gou, which frustrates Cai Shu. Just then, Shen Xing comes back, and Cai Shu finally looks relieved. After dropping Cai Shu off at the Xianglong International Resort, Shen Xing heads to the hospital to pick up Dan Tuo.
Lan Bo has been taking care of Xi Tu Ang in the hospital, but many days have passed, and Xi Tu Ang still hasn’t woken up. Shen Xing reflects on the tragic cost of business dealings for people like them. Mao Pan, having drunk too much, spots Dan Tuo and Shen Xing and attempts to provoke them, but is restrained by security.
Dan Tuo also holds back a furious Shen Xing, reminding him that they are all subordinates of powerful figures, and causing a scene could jeopardize their business. This is the reality in Sanbianpo. Wu Hai Shan has played a significant role this time; Chen Hao has agreed to let him invest in the Xinyangguang Fund.
A man named Ming Ge appears, opening a new storyline.
