In Episode 14, Lao Gu and Ying Zi explain that they are not blaming Han Zi Qing, but if something were to happen to the Fourth Prince, how would she cope? She prays for his recovery, wishing things hadn’t turned out this way All she wants is to find a way back home, and she truly hopes Jun Bei Yue wakes up soon

Meanwhile, the Queen reports to the King about their investigation. The Fourth Prince's residence is tightly guarded, making it impossible to gather any information. The Queen asks the King what they should do if the situation becomes dire, to which he responds that if that is the case, Jun Bei Chen should immediately take command of the military! The Queen feels relieved and promises to keep a close eye on matters at the Fourth Prince's residence.

Back at Jun Bei Yue’s side, his condition has not improved, and Han Zi Qing grows increasingly worried. She seeks out Lao Gu for more information. Lao Gu explains that the wound struck Jun Bei Yue’s heart meridian, and without someone to lend him internal energy, he might not survive for more than two months. Han Zi Qing inquires about who could help, and Lao Gu suggests the Lu family from the East Sea. Years ago, the Lu clan leader took Jun Bei Yue as a disciple and taught him internal energy. If he could assist, it would greatly benefit Jun Bei Yue. Han Zi Qing immediately decides to send someone to Liuxian Island to find the Lu clan leader. Lao Gu, Ying Zi, and someone else are hesitant, but Han Zi Qing reveals her scorpion-shaped ring, indicating her authority. Thus, Han Zi Qing and Si Tu Hao Nan stay behind at Tian Que while Ying Zi and Lao Gu escort Jun Bei Yue to Liuxian Island, aiming to arrive within ten days.

The King and Queen, unable to contain their concerns, head directly to the Fourth Prince’s residence. Han Zi Qing blocks their entry, insisting that Jun Bei Yue needs peace to recover. Nevertheless, they proceed inside, only to see Si Tu Hao Nan being thrown out, cursing. They decide to leave but remain suspicious. The King reminds Lao Er to pay special attention to the situation.

As a result, more assassins target the Fourth Prince’s residence, including some from Nan Zhao. However, Han Zi Qing instructs the inner courtyard to remain undisturbed, with someone pretending to be Jun Bei Yue in bed, causing wave after wave of attackers to leave empty-handed.

On Liuxian Island, the Lu family is having a meal and discussing the upcoming Liuxian Conference. However, the clan leader’s children are restless. The eldest daughter, Mei Ting, gets into an argument with her husband, Jiang Chen, while the youngest, Su Ying, joins in. The clan leader feels disheartened, wishing Jun Bei Yue were there. At that moment, a subordinate brings news of urgent guests requesting to meet. The clan leader goes to see, only to find Jun Bei Yue unconscious. He immediately orders Jun Bei Yue to be brought back, and Lao Gu conveys their purpose for coming. The clan leader decides to help Jun Bei Yue and promises not to leak any information. However, his internal energy is limited, and his wife worries about him, prompting her to seek Jiang Chen’s assistance. He hesitates to help. Ultimately, the clan leader expends seventy percent of his energy before Jun Bei Yue begins to improve. Yet, the clan leader’s children start to gossip, with Jiang Chen even suspecting that Jun Bei Yue might be his father’s illegitimate son! Su Ying, who usually doesn’t get along with Jiang Chen, even initiates a conversation with him.

On Han Zi Qing’s side, she receives news about Jun Bei Yue’s improvement, now under the alias Nian Bei. Meanwhile, Ouyang initially plans to ask Wang An for help in dealing with the assassins, allowing Han Zi Qing to go to Liuxian Island. However, he cannot secure Wang An’s assistance. Han Zi Qing decides to go herself, but the assassins continue to strike, and this time they capture another person from Nan Zhao! Han Zi Qing seeks out Wang An, but is turned away. Unexpectedly, people from Nan Zhao pursue her as well!
