Meanwhile, Yuan Shan Qing is suddenly taken away by the police, and the news spreads quickly around campus. As a friend, Han Shu rushes to the police station to find out what’s going on. The barrage of questions from the police leaves her confused, especially regarding Yuan Shan Qing’s brother, Yuan Yong, about whom she knows nothing.

On campus, girls are buzzing about Qiang Xiao Wa's stylish new haircut, but Cheng Miao Miao is unusually quiet due to family troubles weighing on her mind. Li Si discreetly informs her that the police are investigating Yuan Shan Qing’s connections to Yuan Yong. This news ignites a flurry of speculation among their classmates.

Cheng Ya Ya, already distressed, finds herself further provoked when Luo Zheng taunts her, claiming to have been at the hospital with Yuan Shan Qing and even mentioning the word "child," which infuriates Cheng Ya Ya. Nevertheless, she knows she shouldn’t jump to conclusions until the police provide more information.

In her confrontation with the police, Yuan Shan Qing insists that she went to the hospital alone, fearing that involving Cheng Ya Ya would complicate matters. Han Shu empathizes with her, but recognizes that any concealment in this situation could lead to more trouble.

Yuan Shan Qing has indeed cut ties with Yuan Yong, revealing her scars as evidence of the abuse she suffered at his hands. She can never forgive her brother, who vented all his anger on his two daughters simply because they are girls.

The arrival of Gao Fei Yang brings a turning point to the situation.

He went to the police to get information and warned Han Shu to be cautious, as Yuan Yong might come back looking for Yuan Shan Qing. After confirming that everyone was safe, Yuan Shan Qing hurried to find her sister, Xiao Zi, only to discover that she had already been picked up.

Worried, she and her friends rushed to the hospital, where they unexpectedly ran into Cheng Peng Fei. It turned out that Xiao Zi had been temporarily taken home by Cheng Ya Ya, who was concerned that she might feel lonely and helpless.

Upon hearing this, Jia Dai Yu was somewhat apprehensive about the situation with Yuan Shan Qing’s family but still welcomed Xiao Zi and reminded everyone to keep it a secret. After work, Cheng Peng Fei returned home with Gao Fei Yang and Yuan Shan Qing. Jia Dai Yu was warm towards Gao Fei Yang while keeping a certain distance from Yuan Shan Qing.

On their way home, they encountered Han Shu waiting for them. They exchanged smiles, seemingly relieved at the resolution of the recent turmoil.

The next day at school, Yuan Shan Qing was overwhelmed when she found her desk abandoned in the hallway. Cheng Ya Ya stepped up, pulling her into the classroom and confronting those who had spread rumors. Encouraged by Cheng Ya Ya, Yuan Shan Qing gathered her courage and moved her desk back to her seat. She knew that even though her father had made mistakes, she had to be strong and prove her innocence.

In class, she wrote “Thank you” in her notebook, grateful for the support and encouragement from those around her.

As the Mid-Autumn Festival approached, Cheng Ya Ya and Yuan Shan Qing used mooncakes to convey their care and apologies for one another. These small mooncakes symbolized their deep friendship and represented a new beginning.

Meanwhile, Li Si secretly celebrated his good grades in math, even though he knew they were somewhat inflated. This realization made him aware of Qiang Xiao Wa’s abilities, motivating him to study harder in the future. In this season filled with challenges and warmth, everyone was growing in their own way.
