Episode 18 recap: Zhao Kai's Ex-Girlfriend Launches a Fierce Acquisition Battle
In episode 18, Xing Wen Hao's children are completely unaware of his secret actions. When they hear that their father has voluntarily resigned, they are puzzled, thinking he just wants to take a break. However, Fang Fang is fully aware of what’s happening but chooses to remain silent, offering her greatest forbearance. In private, Xing Wen Hao specifically warns Fang Fang to be cautious of Zhao Kai and Xu Dao Ming at the company, saying these businessmen care only about profit, particularly these two, who are like tigers in the logistics industry.
Fang Fang responds with a smile, saying that not only are there tigers here, but also cunning foxes. Xu Dao Ming has been diagnosed with a mild concussion and will be discharged from the hospital after two days of observation. Song Qiao visits him, curious about how he managed to force Xing Wen Hao out.
Xu Dao Ming speaks frankly, revealing that he had long suspected Xing Wen Hao of ill intentions and had secretly installed surveillance in his car. Cheng Lu sets up a trap by arranging for a woman to seduce Xing Qi Chao. Once successful, she pretends to be a victim, threatening to report him for rape.
Faced with the possibility of a ten-year prison sentence, Xing Qi Chao panics and urgently calls Xing Wen Hao, pleading for him to sell the shares to Ding Ning to quell the situation. Initially opposed to the sale, Xing Wen Hao, learning of his son's predicament, has no choice but to compromise and reluctantly transfers his shares to Ding Ning. This business battle ultimately concludes with Ding Ning's clever planning and precise execution.
