Episode 19 recap: Wang Rui Jie Continues to Defuse Bombs
In Episode 19, it's reported that Wang Rui Jie is exceptionally skilled, managing to cut down the bomb threat warning time from a lengthy wait to a critical thirty minutes. Upon receiving the news, Peng Ying Xiang and the team hurried to the Qingliangmen Train Station. Meanwhile, the local police had already initiated evacuation procedures to ensure everyone's safety.
The situation was complicated by the presence of a tank car in the station, filled with hazardous chemicals. An explosion could lead to unimaginable consequences. Peng Ying Xiang made a decisive call to first evacuate the area and then sent in a police dog to check for any remaining individuals while also locating the bomb.
Wang Rui Jie stepped up, quickly recognizing the bomb's "signature," having previously disarmed a similar one. Confident in her experience, she assured everyone she could handle it. Although the team leader was supposed to lead the operation personally, he allowed Wang Rui Jie to take charge given the circumstances.
