Episode 10 recap: Lin Hao and Others Worry About the Competition
In Episode 10, Shen Di sincerely invites Lao Lang to join their team as the logistics coordinator. Lao Lang admires Shen Di's courage and vision, agreeing without hesitation, which fills Shen Di with joy. Shortly after, Ha Li Ke returns to the training ground, enthusiastically diving into motorcycle practice. However, this tranquility is shattered by the arrival of Ma Er Dan.
Ma Er Dan insists on shutting down the training ground, even planning to demolish it. Ha Li Ke firmly opposes this, leading to a heated argument between the two. In this critical moment, Hao Qiang steps up and takes full responsibility. He has always encouraged the kids to ride motorcycles, believing it could lead them to success. Hao Qiang's stance gradually calms Ma Er Dan's anger, allowing the training ground to remain open.
Meanwhile, Zhao Zong announces a major decision at a high-level meeting: he plans to form his own research and development team. He wants to go beyond merely expanding production and seeks technological breakthroughs to free themselves from brand constraints. He also reveals plans to sponsor the Great Desert Rally, shocking the CFO with the hefty sponsorship cost of over five million. This poses a significant expense for the company, especially since investors are hesitant about product upgrades and there are differing development philosophies. The CFO advises caution, even suggesting pausing the sponsorship for the rally.
At the same time, Gu Chengfeng, a well-known racer, has just finished the Dakar Rally and is invited by Shen Di to the Great Fortress for an advertisement shoot. Upon hearing this, Lin Hao and a few friends, including Ha Li Ke, visit with hopes of discussing motorcycle techniques with Gu Chengfeng. The director suggests that Gu Chengfeng try a jump stunt, but he hesitates due to concerns about damaging the borrowed vehicle. Just then, Aier Ken rides up the steep ramp, showcasing his impressive skills.
Despite their past disagreements, Gu Chengfeng is impressed by Aier Ken's performance. However, on the way back, Aier Ken experiences vehicle trouble and has to push his bike forward. This scene surprises and impresses Lin Hao and Ha Li Ke, who eagerly ask Aier Ken to teach them the jump technique.
Facing various challenges from town hall, the mayor is skeptical about keeping the training ground and allowing the kids to ride motorcycles. Xi Lin empathizes, believing that lack of passion leads to stagnation. Hao Qiang patiently explains the concerns of the older generation and tries to change their mindset gradually. To relieve the mayor's stress, Hao Qiang even asks Xi Lin to deliver some stress-relief medication.
Meanwhile, Gu Chengfeng begins forming a racing team per Zhao Zong's plans. If Lin Hao and his friends join, they would receive professional training, access to KTM motorcycles, and sponsorship funding, alleviating logistics worries. However, Lin Hao and the others politely decline, deciding to participate in the Great Desert Rally under the name Desert Wolves Team. While their ambition is commendable, reality quickly hits them as they face financial difficulties. Aier Ken even offers to sell his prized "meteorite" to raise funds, but it turns out to be just an ordinary rock, leaving Aier Ken deeply disappointed.
At the same time, Zhao Zong faces setbacks as his biotech company fails to attract investors unless he continues to expand the production line. Undeterred, Zhao Zong decides to seek new development opportunities.
