Episode 15 recap: Shen Di Decides to Stay in Hanning

In Episode 15, Hao Qiang has been pondering a major project: he wants to set up a motorcycle rally stage in the area. However, he questions what this stage will truly bring to the community. Will it genuinely improve the lives of the locals? As the secretary, Hao Qiang feels these are important issues to consider deeply.

Meanwhile, Harike returns from the repair shop with a frown; the motorcycle for sale has attracted no interest. His sharp eyes catch sight of another bike in the shop, and upon inquiry, he learns it belongs to General Zhao. Coincidentally, Zhao is riding his prized motorcycle towards the desert. Harike is alarmed to hear this, especially with a sandstorm warning in effect—going out now would only bring trouble. Without hesitation, he rushes after Zhao.

After some effort, Harike finally stops Zhao. It turns out Zhao is feeling down and wants to escape the desert wind and sand for a bit. Faced with Harike's warning about the sandstorm, Zhao is torn; returning now seems impossible. Fortunately, Harike knows a secluded spot in the mountains where they can take shelter from the storm.

Once safe, the two start to chat. Zhao mentions the rally and expresses his initial desire to help, but unfortunate circumstances got in the way. Harike understands and shares that Buick even mortgaged the shop for this rally. When Zhao mentions his inability to assist, Harike takes it in stride, knowing Zhao has his own challenges.

After their safe return, Harike warmly invites Zhao to ride again, but insists they wait for better weather.

On another front, Lin Hao is excited to meet Gu Cheng Feng to discuss a contract. Gu Cheng Feng readily offers to prepay part of the fee. However, when Aierken arrives, Harike is thrilled and plans to treat him well. Yet, the mood shifts when the topic of money comes up.

Lin Hao mentions the 20,000 yuan he earned from joining Gu Cheng Feng's team, which infuriates Harike, leading to a near altercation. Harike feels Lin Hao is being ungrateful by leaving so abruptly without considering the team. Lin Hao counters that the money is his hard-earned income. Thankfully, Aierken steps in just in time to defuse the situation.

Aierken has his own financial concerns; he needs to earn money to pay off debts and doesn’t want to burden Lin Hao and Harike. When Sainam offers to help, he declines, believing Lin Hao's decision to join Gu Cheng Feng is a good one—one he would have made in his youth as well. Sainam gently assures him that she will support him no matter what he chooses.

Meanwhile, Xilin approaches Shen Di, who is busy planning a new project. Shen Di believes that desert tourism is booming but insists that service must keep pace. He plans to build a base to enhance quality. Hao Qiang joins the discussion and hands Xilin a learning application, encouraging her personal development. This series of events not only highlights the emotional entanglements among the characters but also signals new opportunities on the horizon.

Lin Hao eagerly seeks out Shen Di to share his good news about joining Gu Cheng Feng’s team and invites Shen Di to visit the headquarters in Shenzhen. However, Shen Di firmly declares his intention to stay in Hanning. He recalls the thrill of watching the races for the first time and how the vitality of the racers on this land is something he can't let go of. He urges Lin Hao to follow his heart, stating that even without this opportunity, he would have wanted to join Gu Cheng Feng anyway.

During a meal, Harike and Xilin discuss Lin Hao. Harike admits he doesn’t oppose Lin Hao seeking better opportunities, but feels a bit guilty for not being able to keep him. Xilin encourages Harike to aim to become a top racer, suggesting that success will naturally lead to his own team. Upon hearing this, Harike's eyes light up with unprecedented determination; he has never desired victory so fiercely, nor has he seen his path so clearly before.
