In Episode 2, Xia Ling accidentally follows the guidance of the ghostly symbols and finds herself in Raksha Street, a place filled with fantastical and eerie sights tha...She is both curious and a little afraid of her surroundings Meanwhile, Cao Yan Bing is eagerly trying to grab a red envelope when disaster strikes—a bird drops a mess right on his phone, shattering his dreams of fortune
At that moment, Cao Xuan Liang rushes in with alarming news that a group of strange beings is approaching from the west. Frustrated and seeking an outlet for his anger, Cao Yan Bing sees this group as the perfect target. Before heading out, he sternly orders Cao Xuan Liang to guard the spirit tree, warning that any intruders will be dealt with ruthlessly.
Xia Ling finally manages to find Cao Yan Bing's place, only to run into the group of strange beings, mistakenly thinking they are engaged in some kind of cosplay. When she meets Cao Yan Bing in person, she realizes he is the delivery guy. The strange beings confront Cao Yan Bing, accusing him of killing Shi Pu. Feeling awkward, Xia Ling steps aside as Cao Yan Bing invites her to find his brother, Cao Xuan Liang. However, Cao Xuan Liang misunderstands and throws a dagger, which accurately hits an invisible person hiding behind Xia Ling.
The brothers,腐材 and腐棺, unravel the mystery: although Cao Yan Bing lacks a guardian spirit, he can become a soul guardian through the Ten Yama Kings. Cao Yan Bing sees through their taunts and dismisses them, choosing to engage in a bare-handed fight instead. The invisible person reveals himself due to Xia Ling’s presence, bleeding from his nose, and Cao Xuan Liang seizes the opportunity to subdue him.
Cao Yan Bing wakes from a troubling dream, disturbed by the mocking voices of the strange beings. Xia Ling is amazed at how quickly he recovers, and Cao Xuan Liang explains that this is a trait of spirit bearers. When Cao Yan Bing changes clothes, he asks Xia Ling to turn away, but she not only refuses to leave but starts playfully hitting him, leaving him bewildered and wondering why he saved her twice.
At the dinner table, Xia Ling expresses her dissatisfaction with the food and curiosity about the diet of the invisible being. Cao Xuan Liang confides in Cao Yan Bing about how he used Xia Ling’s clothing to lure the invisible person out. When Xia Ling presses for information about them, Cao Yan Bing reveals that those who are hunting her are the true masterminds behind the chaos.
Xia Ling firmly opposes killing the invisible beings, claiming she has found a way to protect herself, and intentionally pulls down her shoulder to provoke the invisible being, causing it to bleed. Cao Yan Bing can only look on helplessly. Xia Ling contacts Cao Yan Bing through a video email using the ghostly symbols, and her ability to see and communicate with spirits leads Cao Xuan Liang to speculate that she is at least of the black rope level. Cao Yan Bing isn’t surprised and suggests that Xia Ling might be a spirit bearer.
Cao Yan Bing explains to Xia Ling that Raksha Street is another dimension, not a realm of death. Being a spirit bearer means that a spirit resides within her, akin to being possessed, but it’s not necessarily a bad thing. Cao Xuan Liang adds that Raksha Street is an alternate space or a secret realm, where guardian spirits truly exist. Xia Ling, now in the spirit domain, can freely traverse between the human and spirit worlds.
Cao Yan Bing prepares to go out for deliveries and plans to destroy the lair of the Corpse General afterward to eliminate future threats. His immense power easily overwhelms腐材 and腐棺, catching the attention of the Corpse General, who believes him to be a descendant of the Wei Wu. Meanwhile, Zi Wei decides to sacrifice the Corpse General to protect their organization from exposure.
As these events unfold, Xia Ling gradually adapts to this enchanting world and begins to look forward to her role and mission within it.
