Episode 10 recap: Reunion at Gesang and Zaxi Hospital
Tu Deng has a big plan in mind: he wants to remake the eight Tibetan operas. However, he needs a professional filming team for that. When he inquires, the costs are shocking—starting at two hundred thousand. Hearing this, Tu Deng is filled with worry and stands outside a wedding photography shop, lost in thought. At that moment, Xu Shaojie happens to pass by. Seeing Tu Deng’s expression, he quickly approaches to apologize, saying he hopes Tu Deng can overlook any past mistakes.
Before Xu can finish, Tu Deng sighs and says that as parents, it’s natural to worry about their children when they’re away. Tu Deng decides to discuss it with Dajie first, thinking they need to figure out a way to gather the funds. After some discussion, they agree to set a budget and tackle the money issue gradually. Qu Zong, listening from the side, ponders that two hundred thousand is no small amount and notices that Tu Deng doesn’t seem relaxed. He secretly asks Dajie about it and learns that Tu Deng wants to film the Tibetan operas.
Gongbu is very enthusiastic and goes around gathering everyone to discuss the project. However, when Suo Lang and Ashley bring up the topic of the Gamba sheep project, everyone looks deflated, like wilting eggplants. It turns out that someone had previously deceived them with sheep, so now they’re skeptical of any new proposals. Suo Lang, sweating with anxiety, assures them this time it’s trustworthy, but the crowd remains unconvinced and leaves with their laundry detergent, leaving the cooperative feeling quite empty.
Ge Sang, a spirited girl who acts like a boy, gets excited watching the equestrian team training and joins in the fun. A boy named Nanjia, who dislikes her, makes some sarcastic remarks. Not one to back down, Ge Sang bets Nanjia that she can stay on an untamed wild horse for a minute. Without hesitation, she climbs onto the horse. Although it’s difficult to tame, Ge Sang grits her teeth and manages to stay on for a minute. She falls off at the end but pretends it’s intentional, wanting to demonstrate her determination to everyone.
After the fall, she twists her ankle, and Jiumei rushes her to the hospital. Coincidentally, Zaxi arrives to drop off some documents, but Jiumei isn’t there, so they miss each other again. However, Zaxi hears someone calling for Ge Sang and, curious, comes back to see a familiar face! Their reunion is filled with joy.
Ge Sang shares her dreams with Zaxi, expressing her desire to become a pilot and asks Zaxi if he has found his direction in life. Upon hearing this, Zaxi’s expression darkens. Meanwhile, Xu Shaojie is wandering around the courtyard and sees several photographers. Upon asking, he discovers that Pujiong has rented out the courtyard. Unhappy about this, Xu informs the photographers that they can’t operate there and must cancel the contract. Before leaving, Qu Zong sends a message saying that Cuomu wants to learn art but her family can’t afford it. Xu feels a heavy weight in his heart.
In the cafeteria, Zaxi is distracted while listening to discussions about Yin Wei. Yin Wei is about to finish his aid mission in Tibet and wants to pass on his skills and knowledge. His wife advises him in a video not to worry too much about his students, especially Zaxi, who doesn’t seem very interested in being a doctor. But Yin Wei can’t let go, knowing Zaxi has great potential.
Suo Lang and Ashley haven’t given up; they go back to Gongbu for help with the Gamba sheep project. They follow Gongbu to another village, where they encounter the older brother who had previously refused to talk. This time, they change their strategy and try to speak with his wife, but the brother immediately takes her away. Finally, they find the village's leading sheep farmer, Wangdui, who turns out to be that same brother. He is cold and distant, but Suo Lang uses his persuasive skills to engage him in conversation. Meanwhile, Ashley chats animatedly with Wangdui’s wife. At long last, progress seems to be made.
