Plot Synopsis

"Kill Me Love Me" tells the gripping tale ofPrince Mu Rong Jing He of the Da Yan dynasty and Mei Lin, a young woman from Qingzhou, as they navigate the turbulent currents of fate, supporting each other through adversity in a story of resilience and determination.

After leading the Wei Bei army to reclaim lost territories in Qingzhou,Prince Mu Rong Jing He enters the city only to face a devastating fire. Rumors spread that he, harboring resentment for the betrayal of the Qingzhoupeople, commanded the destruction. Overnight, he transforms from a heroic general to a feared butcher, despised by all.

In the chaos, Mei Lin loses her loved ones to the flames and vows to avenge their deaths. She infiltrates a secret organization known as the Dark Factory, where she undergoes brutal training and ispoisoned with "Ink Vein," turning her into an assassin. Her first mission is shocking: to kill the very man she blames for her suffering—Prince Mu Rong Jing He.

Disguised as one of the hundred beauties sent from Xi Yan to marry into the Da Yan court, Mei Lin waits for her chance to strike. Unbeknownst to her, the mastermind behind the assassinationplot is none other than Mu Rong Jing He himself, who has orchestrated the entire scheme from the shadows.

Based on the novel "Chun Hua Yan(春花厌)" by Hei Yan, this drama explores themes of love, betrayal, and the quest for justice amid the backdropof a tumultuous era.
