In the eighth episode of the drama series "I May Love You," Tang Yu relentlessly pursues a collaboration with Tang Xin. Meanwhile, Tang Xin is concerned about the future of the song "Dreaming for You" due to Old Wan's illness. Tang Yu deliberately calls Tang Xin and reveals that he already knows about Wan Li's illness. He advises Tang Xin to bring "Dreaming for You" back, as it would at least secure the investment. Tang Ding Ding agrees, and she tells Tang Yu about Tang Xin's plan to buy a house. Tang Yu starts to scheme.

The next day, Tang Xin finds a house that satisfies her greatly. She expected the price to be acceptable, but the real estate agent informs her that it's within her budget. Without much thought, Tang Xin agrees and quickly completes the purchase procedures.

As the house was ready to move in, Tang Xin quickly completed her relocation. Tang Yu took the initiative to visit and help with the arrangement, but Tang Xin didn't give him a warm reception. She didn't even offer him a drink of water. When Tang Yu asked for water, he picked up the glass that Tang Xin had drunk from and drank from it.
