Episode 7 of 'I May Love You': Tang Yu Prepares to Pursue Tang Xin Amidst Emotional Turmoil

In the seventh episode of the drama series "I May Love You," Tang Yu finds himself in a gloomy mood due to Tang Xin's departure. Even the cleaning auntie senses his distress and feels frightened. Huo Chen Dong, understanding Tang Yu's pain, rushes to comfort him. He tries to divert Tang Yu's attention by mentioning the box office performance of "Tomorrow's Star," hoping to shift his focus to work. This tactic works, and Tang Yu manages to adjust his state of mind and concentrate on his job.

Tang Ding Ding sends books to lucky fans of Tang Xin and personally writes the addresses. She considers it a ritualistic act. Tang Yu notices this and asks her why she donated fifty thousand yuan to the publishing house. When he learns it's to support Tang Xin, he silently walks away without saying anything.

During a family banquet, Tang's mother urges Tang Yu to find a girlfriend soon. Tang Yu can only use his sister's relationship with Huo Chen Dong as an excuse, reprimanding his mother for not allowing her to date him. Both Tang's father and mother support Tang Yu in this matter, which annoys Tang Ding Ding. She then tells Tang's mother about Tang Yu's love interest and reveals that she has seen the girl's photo.

Tang Ding Ding brings ten books for Tang Xin's autograph and upon receiving a message from Tang Yu requesting a copy, she tells Tang Xin to write anything. Huo Chen Dong notices Tang Yu's troubled mood and tries to provoke him. Tang Yu takes him out for a drink, and Huo Chen Dong sensitively observes that Tang Yu has developed feelings for Tang Xin and is distressed about it. Therefore, Huo Chen Dong advises Tang Yu to take bold action.

Back at home, Tang Yu is still distracted. Gao Heng calls to inquire about the contract signing the next day, but Tang Yu doesn't pay attention. After seeing Tang Xin's friend send her a red envelope on social media, Tang Yu gets inspired. He decides to win Tang Xin's favor by sending her red envelopes, but despite sending six of them, Tang Xin refuses to accept.

Tang Ding Ding brings the book signed by Tang Xin to her brother, and Tang Yu sees that she drew a pig head on the dedication page. He calls Tang Xin and asks why she drew a pig head. Tang Xin, who is doing yoga, responds irritably after being disturbed several times, saying that Tang Yu is sick. Tang Yu asks her to scold him all at once, explaining that if he wants to get close to her, he has to endure a few stings. Tang Xin retorts that she has already quit her job, and if he wants someone to sting, he should find an active employee.

Feeling down, Tang Yu calls Huo Chen Dong in the middle of the night. Huo Chen Dong initially thinks something is wrong but realizes that Tang Yu seeks advice from him. Huo Chen Dong tells Tang Yu that he believes Tang Yu and Tang Xin are a perfect match, but Tang Yu disagrees. Unable to find a solid reason, he can only say that he considers Tang Xin very special.

Huo Chen Dong shares his experience of pursuing girls with Tang Yu, emphasizing the importance of catering to their interests. He recalls how Tang Xin helped Tang Yu pursue Ming Zhu in the past by creating a love-seeking PowerPoint presentation. Tang Yu immediately searches for it, hoping to find a suitable approach to pursue Tang Xin. As he follows the suggestions in the presentation, he struggles to accept the idea of groveling and being overly submissive to Tang Xin.

Gao Heng reports the recent market research data of Lu Zhi Xing Studio to Tang Yu. Since Tang Yu intends to invest in the studio, he worries about the funding for Tang Xin's film. Lu Zhi Xing plans to invite Tang Xin and Feng Cheng for a meal. Meanwhile, there is shocking news from the hospital that the screenwriter, Lao Wan, has been diagnosed with stomach cancer, leaving everyone astonished.
