New Drama Series 'South Sea Tomb' Starring Pan Yue Ming, Zhang Yu Qi, and Jiang Chao Now Streaming

Recently, the new drama series "South Sea Tomb," starring Pan Yue Ming, Zhang Yu Qi, and Jiang Chao, has been released.

This "Ghost Blows Out the Light" series consists of a total of five parts, specifically, the series starring these three individuals has a total of five parts, and "South Sea Tomb" is the fourth part that has been aired.

The series they star in has always received more praise than criticism, mainly due to the contrast with other productions, so there are many fans of this series. However, compared to the previous three parts, this fourth part is truly not as good. At least from the first three episodes, this fourth part falls short of its predecessors. Regardless of how the previous three parts were, they all had very captivating beginnings and fast-paced plots, unlike this fourth part! The content covered in the first three episodes is not extensive.

It's about Hu Ba Yi and others being entrusted to find a mirror that reflects the portrait of the First Emperor of Qin, and then they set sail on a ship with a group of people. That's the main content of the first three episodes, which can be summarized in one sentence, all of it is just exposition.

Only in the last seven to eight minutes of the third episode, there is finally something worth mentioning. Hu Ba Yi and the others encounter a "ghost ship" at sea, narrowly avoiding a collision with their own ship. Finally, there are some eye-catching scenes.

Otherwise, I can only describe my evaluation of the first three episodes in two words: boring. Fortunately, the previous three parts of this series were quite successful, which gave many viewers enough patience to continue watching. If it weren't for the foundation laid by the previous three parts, solely relying on the beginning of this fourth part would discourage people from continuing.

Hopefully! I hope the upcoming plot will be more exciting. If the plot continues to be so lackluster, this fourth part will truly disappoint. The first three episodes already had some moments that felt out of place. When Hu Ba Yi sees Ming Shu with his child, Hu Ba Yi says, "Ming Shu, you were also burdened with a family last season."

The fat guy looks at Duo Ling in surprise, and Hu Ba Yi says, "Fat guy, you were admiring the girl in the second episode, right?" The fat guy replies, "Wasn't there none in the first episode?"

Dialogues like these are really distracting and repetitive. Mentioning previous seasons, first episodes, and second episodes repeatedly, do we really need such reminders that this is a TV drama? How can viewers immerse themselves in the story?
