At the end of 2023, the most anticipated drama of the year, "South Sea Tomb," has finally released its complete series! To be honest, I was extremely excited when I saw the trio of Pan Yue Ming, Zhang Yu Qi, and Jiang Chao. After all, it's rare for a series to maintain the same cast throughout, and this "iron triangle" has been a constant presence.

From a sentimental perspective, this drama is already worth watching. First and foremost, its extraordinary imagination can be considered the pinnacle of Chinese dramas! The most astonishing aspect of "South Sea Tomb" is its explosive imagination. The appearance of the "exile ship" at the beginning was just a prelude.

When Hu Ba Yi and his team actually entered the ruins, the creatures that appeared in the entire underworld left people dumbfounded. From the sea snakes that first appeared on the ship to the giant octopus, the merfolk that followed, and the underwater divine tree designed by the Hentian Tribe. Not to mention the Twelve Heavenly Generals' designs. While Hu Ba Yi, Fatty, and others had to wear diving gear and secure themselves with safety ropes before daring to dive, Gu Cai could effortlessly move in and out of the water without even needing to catch her breath!

Of course, Gu Cai's most impressive scene was during the underwater battle against countless merfolk. That shot of Gu Cai, her eyes shining, wielding a blade and confronting the merfolk underwater, was simply mind-blowing. Without mentioning other merits, just considering the grand imagination portrayed in this series and the various extraordinary creatures that appear, this drama deserves high praise.

One highlight is the design of the underworld. Suddenly, a massive sea eye appears on the ocean. Everything seems to be swallowed, and everyone's lives seem to come to an end. However, who could have imagined that beneath the underworld lies another independent world? Above the underworld is the sea, while below, there is air, the remnants of the Hentian Tribe, and countless ships that were drawn in.

This plot design of going from death to rebirth truly leaves viewers thrilled. In addition to this design, there is another aspect that I can't help but praise. Regrettably, "South Sea Tomb" might be the final chapter! After watching "South Sea Tomb," we find that Hu Ba Yi and the others still haven't made it to America and need to continue their adventures.

One reason is Hu Ba Yi's adventurous spirit, which doesn't allow him to stop. Another reason is that their mission is still unfinished. In the final moments of "South Sea Tomb," Duoling wears the watch given by Gu Cai and unintentionally gets poisoned. If "Wu Xia Guan Shan" doesn't get filmed, Hu Ba Yi and the others will forever be stuck at this point, and the trio of Pan Yue Ming, Zhang Yu Qi, and Jiang Chao will have their last collaboration.

This is the most regrettable aspect. Although the "Ghost Blows Out the Light" series has received criticism over the years, whenever a new series in the franchise is released, viewers continue to criticize while eagerly anticipating it.

There are surprises and regrets, which represent the audience's feelings towards the "Ghost Blows Out the Light" series and the trio of Pan Yue Ming. Hopefully, "South Sea Tomb" is not the end, and there will be a production of "Wu Xia Guan Shan." Otherwise, it's a real pity that the adventure of the iron triangle camp will come to an abrupt halt!
