A Journey to Love: Review, Ratings, and its Growing Popularity

Not only that, today the rating of "A Journey to Love" on Douban has just been released, scoring 7.5. However, with the continuous popularity of "A Journey to Love," it has received both praise and criticism.

1. Unbelievable Plot: In terms of plot development, it is inevitable for the romantic relationship between the male and female leads to escalate. However, I didn't expect the development of this relationship to be so inexplicable. It all started with Empress Zhao Jie's last words before her death: "Do not easily fall in love with a man, but you must have your own child." Then, taking advantage of the male lead's weakened state due to being drugged, she wants to have a child with him, claiming that she was attracted to his martial arts skills and tall stature. Why does she insist on having a child in this day and age? The plot seems absurd, and the screenwriter's approach is quite laughable. Moreover, it's not even her own desire but someone else's remark. To be honest, I initially watched it because of Liu Shi Shi, and indeed, her beauty remains captivating. She portrays a classic beauty in traditional attire, and her presence enhances the show.

During a drinking scene, she behaves in such a way that even when talking to the Princess of Wuguo, she stretches her neck so long that the audience jokingly calls her "Empress Turtle Neck." In conclusion, despite the increasing number of negative reviews for "A Journey to Love," it doesn't diminish its overall popularity. Compared to "Lotus Tower," another historical drama, "A Journey to Love" stands out with its excellent casting and action scenes, attracting a large number of viewers.

For now, "A Journey to Love" can definitely be considered a hit. However, a momentary success doesn't guarantee it will become the "blockbuster of the year." With the growing number of negative reviews, "A Journey to Love" still has a long way to go.
