Got a Crush on You: A New Drama Starring Gu Li Na Zha and Xu Kai Cheng

Recently, the new drama "Got a Crush on You," starring Gu Li Na Zha and Xu Kai Cheng, has premiered. The male lead, Su Qing Che, is a rescue team captain. While on the road, he encounters a small dog outside a window on the third floor. He climbs up a billboard barehanded and jumps over to rescue the dog.

Is it worth taking such a big risk to save a dog? Rescuing a dog is certainly admirable, but one should ensure their own safety first! There is no protection or safety measures taken, just personal heroism. This dog rescue scene is also the first meeting between the male and female leads. However, while the male lead remembers the female lead, she doesn't remember him.

Later, the female lead, Song Xing Chen, is arranged for a blind date by her parents, and coincidentally, the date is with the male lead. It's a case of serendipity, but it feels too deliberate! In other words, it feels contrived.

There are even more contrived situations later on. If Song Xing Chen doesn't want to go on the blind date, can't she just refuse her parents? Does she really have no say in rejecting the date? Su Qing Che intentionally arrives late, dresses cool, and occasionally clashes with Song Xing Chen. This creates a typical setup of "frenemies," where the male and female leads start off with misunderstandings but gradually reconcile. The various setups in this drama feel somewhat outdated, as nowadays, audiences are less likely to buy into this kind of plot.

Doesn't Gu Li Na Zha have any script preferences?
