Ren Ru Yi's Role in Assisting the Wuguo Delegation and Overcoming Challenges

Ren Ru Yi's actions in the drama were indeed helpful to the Wuguo delegation, and in many instances, they would not have been able to overcome obstacles without Ren Ru Yi's assistance. It seemed that Ren Ru Yi had fully integrated herself into the Wuguo delegation. Especially after entering the territory of Anguo, both Ren Ru Yi herself and other members of the Wuguo delegation acknowledged her as the princess of Wuguo.

The first difficulty encountered by the Wuguo delegation was when they were poisoned by the princess at the Baisha Station. At that time, everyone except Ren Ru Yi was knocked out by the princess. If it weren't for Ren Ru Yi, the princess would have easily returned to the capital. After passing through Baisha Town, the Wuguo delegation faced their largest battle since the beginning of their journey at Tianxing Gorge.

The opponent was Zhou Jian with his light cavalry. In a situation where the enemy outnumbered them, Ren Ru Yi once again stepped forward. She single-handedly broke into the enemy's formation, captured Zhou Jian, and ensured the safe passage of the delegation and the princess. Upon entering the territory of Anguo, Shen Tu Chi planned to publicly humiliate the princess, but Ren Ru Yi appeared in disguise and rescued the princess while teaching Shen Tu Chi a lesson.

Next, Li Tong Guang, as the introducing envoy, accompanied Fan Dong Ming, the deputy of Anguo's Honglu Temple, to visit the princess. Ning Yuan Zhou and others were unable to stop them, so Ren Ru Yi intervened, disguised as the princess of Huyang County, and resolved the crisis.

But does this make Ren Ru Yi a "traitor"? Clearly not. Ren Ru Yi cannot be considered a traitor for several reasons. First of all, Ren Ru Yi is not even a native of Anguo. The previous plot made it clear that Ren Ru Yi was sold to the Anguo Zhu Yi Wei as a child. She has repeatedly expressed her desire not to live in seclusion and to use her power to help those women who were discarded or suffered under the Anguo Zhu Yi Wei. This indicates the kind of life Ren Ru Yi had while in the Zhu Yi Wei. That's why she is grateful to the Empress. Without the Empress's protection, her situation could have been even worse.

Secondly, the Anguo Emperor killed her only benefactor, Ren Ru Yi, a foreigner. Initially, Ren Ru Yi willingly served Anguo not only because of the Zhu Yi Wei's "nurturing" but mainly because of the Empress. However, the Anguo Emperor killed the Empress and falsely accused Ren Ru Yi.

Ren Ru Yi managed to escape death five years ago and was saved by an ordinary woman from Wuguo. The woman treated Ren Ru Yi as her own daughter, and Ren Ru Yi regarded her as her adoptive mother. When the Zhu Yi Wei threatened Ren Ru Yi using the old woman, the woman chose to sacrifice herself rather than let anyone harm Ren Ru Yi. Therefore, if we consider it from the perspective of the old woman, we can completely regard the "reborn" Ren Ru Yi as a person from Wuguo.

Considering the points mentioned above, it is completely baseless and illogical to claim that Ren Ru Yi betrayed her country.
