Directed by Shen Yang and starring Liu Hao Cun and Lin Yi, among others, "Derailment," an urban suspense romance drama adapted from the popular novel by Priest, will premiere exclusively on Youku starting from 18:00 on December 14th. The series tells the story of Jiang Xiao Yuan, a wealthy heiress who undergoes an accidental "time-travel" experience and finds herself transformed into a working-class girl. In her quest for survival, she crosses paths with her childhood friend Qi Lian, and together they embark on a journey to uncover the truth, while weaving a tale of love and career.

Liu Hao Cun, known for her remarkable performances in films like "A Little Red Flower" and "Cliff Walkers," makes her television drama debut in "Derailment" and takes on the challenging role of a character with a reversed identity. One is a privileged young lady who has lived a smooth life, while the other is a hardworking girl who strives for a living. Their starkly contrasting backgrounds and upbringing pose a significant challenge in portraying their characters.

While preparing for the role, Liu Hao Cun dedicated herself to studying makeup and styling, as well as embodying the distinct characteristics of each character through her performance. She aimed to highlight the unique traits and fully develop the characters. In interviews, she mentioned that Jiang Xiao Yuan, after experiencing everything, is like a resilient little grass, facing all the twists and challenges with a strong inner strength. Her journey of career advancement is also expected to be a captivating aspect of the series.
