Derailment: A Captivating Drama with Intriguing Twists and Unforgettable Characters

I opened the first episode of "Derailment" with low expectations, just wanting to give it a try. However, I couldn't stop watching and ended up binge-watching four episodes. I'm eagerly anticipating the conclusion. The female lead, portrayed by Liu Hao Cun as Jiang Xiaoyuan, starts off as a wealthy second-generation heiress. Betrayed by her best friend and boyfriend, she gets into a car accident and unexpectedly travels back seven years, becoming a destitute woman and the ex-girlfriend of the male lead during his student days. However, she doesn't recognize him and is determined to return to the "wealthy heiress" timeline.

When she calls her father, she is surprised to hear the male lead on the other end of the line. I must say, Liu Hao Cun's acting skills are impressive. She truly deserves the title of "talented actress." Although she may not have a stunning appearance, she possesses a unique and ethereal beauty that is easily recognizable. Her voice is also delightful, not as cloying as some other actresses. This young actress from the post-2000 generation is bound for great success!

In terms of the storyline, it constantly teases and captivates the audience. There are moments when you don't want to watch, but then you can't wait to see what happens next. After watching the first four episodes, I'm still a bit puzzled. I've done various searches on Baidu and have gained some understanding of the background. The characters in the drama initially believe it's a parallel timeline or time travel, but it's possible that their memories have been tampered with, hinting at a larger conspiracy.

I'm eagerly looking forward to the upcoming episodes. This drama has a reminiscent feel of "The Beginning," but with a more intricate plot.
