When main characters like this significantly influence the storyline, it makes the audience feel that the characters are fake and not representative of that era, leading them to question the authenticity of the plot. Consequently, viewers lose interest in continuing to watch. It's truly baffling why the director chose to arrange the characters in this manner. On the other hand, supporting actors such as Ding Yong Dai, Kong Lin, and Xu Bai Hui hold the show together and deliver remarkable performances.

Ding Yong Dai, in the role of Bai Ming Han, impresses viewers with his consistent portrayal of a limping character, capturing every detail from expressions to eye movements and attire. He appears natural and genuine, making viewers believe that this is who the character truly is. Audiences want to keep watching to find out if he is a good or bad person and if he is the elusive "Snow Wolf."

Some viewers even go as far as to say that without Ding Yong Dai, there would be no reason to watch this show. Xu Bai Hui portrays the character of Ge Yun, the head nurse, and skillfully handles the role, leaving viewers with the impression that she is more than just a nurse and possibly a spy.
