The Last Immortal: Zhao Lu Si Shines in an Enthralling Fantasy Drama

The fantasy drama "The Last Immortal," starring Zhao Lu Si, delivers an exceptional performance. Particularly noteworthy is the character Ah Yin, who sacrifices half of her inner energy to rescue Feng Yin, offering her own life force in exchange for two portions of immortal essence. Ah Yin ventures into the realm of the netherworld, where she encounters the netherworld king, Ao Ge, and discovers that he is none other than Gui Jun Xiu Yan. Despite Ah Yin's innocent and adorable appearance, she proves to be remarkably intelligent.

Ao Ge, or Xiu Yan, reveals to Ah Yin their true origins. They were once divine beings born in the ancient divine realm and possessed power comparable to that of the higher gods. However, seventy thousand years ago, during the war between gods and demons, they engaged in a fierce battle against the demon god Ming Qi in an effort to protect the divine realm. Unfortunately, Ming Qi was extraordinarily powerful, surpassing even the average true god. Xiu Yan and Ao Ge stood no chance against him.

Eventually, Ao Ge expresses his willingness to relinquish the position of heavenly emperor and become the ruler of the netherworld, taking Xiu Yan's place. He proposes sharing a physical body with Xiu Yan. Only then does Ah Yin agree to assist Xiu Yan in gathering his scattered soul fragments using the power of chaos. This turn of events is truly bewildering. After all, these two individuals, who sacrificed themselves for the sake of protecting the divine realm, are now subjected to such an outcome. It is truly beyond words.

However, one aspect needs clarification: does Yi He, the True God, have the ability to help Xiu Yan reconstruct his physical body? Clearly, the answer is yes. In the new plot, the demon god Ming Qi has appeared, and his true identity is revealed to be Xuan Yi, the demon god from "Eternal Jade Dust," and the first Chaos Lord. He is, strictly speaking, the master of Yi He, controlling the power of chaos. Although he died during the war between gods and demons thousands of years ago, he was resurrected by the ancestral gods and sealed within the Nine Abyssal Prison.

It is quite evident that if Ao Ge can replace Xiu Yan, then during these thousands of years, Xiu Yan could have been resurrected while Ao Ge ventured into the netherworld to aid his brother. Other Immortal Monarchs can handle matters in the heavenly realm, and Feng Yuan can simply go into seclusion without the need for the complicated arrangement of sharing a body between Xiu Yan and Ao Ge. Therefore, it becomes apparent that this is a scheme devised by Yi He, the True God, who seeks control over the heavenly realm.

In conclusion, Yi He, the True God, has truly deceived and manipulated Ao Ge and Xiu Yan. She could have saved them but chose not to, resulting in Xiu Yan and Ao Ge sharing a single body. The other half of Xiu Yan remains imprisoned in the Nine Abyssal Prison, becoming a "rival" to the demon god Ming Qi and passing time in futile battles. It is truly astonishing to discover her ambitious and calculating nature. Her actions are ruthless beyond expectation.
