The Last Immortal: A Heart-Wrenching Plot Unfolds, Unveiling the Sinister Mastermind
The latest developments in the TV drama "The Last Immortal," starring Zhao Lu Si, have taken a more heartbreaking turn. A Yin falls victim to schemes and persecution, primarily orchestrated by Hua Shu. Although Gu Jin seemingly loves A Yin, he fails to intervene and stop Hua Shu's torment, essentially making him complicit in her suffering. In her quest to retrieve the Phoenix Essence for Gu Jin, A Yin even goes as far as trading half of her own inner energy and soul power with the King of the Underworld, which results in her hair turning white overnight.
However, A Yin is not the first unfortunate soul to meet a tragic fate. Before her, there was another hapless individual—Lan Feng, the Heavenly Emperor and Hua Shu's fiancé. Once Hua Shu discovers that Gu Jin is the son of the True God Yi He, she subjects A Yin to various forms of persecution in order to align herself with Gu Jin. However, Gu Jin does not reciprocate her feelings, and Hua Shu is forced to marry Lan Feng.
Little does she know that her wedding day would turn into a day of widowhood. Her father, Hua Mo, and the Demon Lord Qing Lin had long collaborated to instigate the war between immortals and demons. Both Hua Mo and Qing Lin spare no effort in their plans. On their wedding day, Qing Lin ascends to the heavenly realm, while Hua Mo intentionally leads Lan Feng to the place where his predecessor, Chen Hui, practiced cultivation. With no one around, the Demon Lord Qing Lin strikes, killing Lan Feng, the Heavenly Emperor.
Although the Demon Lord Qing Lin manages to kill both the Heavenly Emperor and the Demon King, she herself falls victim to manipulation. Lin Mo notices Hong Ruo's transformation and, with Hong Ruo occasionally regaining consciousness, they join forces to control the Demon Lord Qing Lin. Ultimately, the Demon Lord Qing Lin is severely injured by the Primordial Sword of Yuan Qi, nearly losing her soul, but also sustaining grave wounds. Seizing the opportunity, Peacock King Hua Mo seizes a portion of her powers, leaving her on the verge of a miserable death, taking refuge in the Nine Abyssal Shady Prison.
The Demon Lord, Heavenly Emperor, and Demon King all meet their tragic ends, and the mastermind behind everything is none other than Hua Mo. Hua Mo has always hidden himself deep in order to make a final move and dominate the Three Realms. Seizing the opportunity when Feng Yuan exhausts over half of her powers to repair the Nine Abyssal Shady Prison's barrier, Hua Mo ruthlessly employs the Demon Gathering Banner to rally numerous powerful demons and launch an attack on the heavenly realm, intending to decimate it.
However, Hua Mo's ruthlessness knows no bounds. Not only does he kill many members of the Peacock Clan, but he also refines them into his demonic army. Furthermore, he turns his own son, Hua Yan, into a puppet, ensnaring Hua Shu and demanding her sacrifice. In the end, Hua Shu sees through her father's true nature and, for the sake of the Peacock Clan, decides to confront Hua Mo by utilizing the Demon Gathering Banner. At that time, she has already attained the cultivation level of a high-ranked deity, similar to Hua Mo's.
Hua Mo initially attempts to escape but is caught off guard by the Heaven-Shielding Umbrella previously given to Hua Shu by Gu Jin. The umbrella blocks his path and becomes his death omen. Struck by the Demon Gathering Banner, he is reduced to mere bones and his soul is forever imprisoned within the banner. Hua Shu also sacrifices herself to suppress the Demon Gathering Banner, successfully redeeming herself. She pleads with Feng Yuan to spare the uncorrupted members of the Peacock Clan.
Without a doubt, the most prominent antagonist in this drama is Hua Mo. The Demon King, Heavenly Emperor, and Demon Lord all meet their demise, with Hua Mo serving as the heartless and treacherous mastermind behind it all. Fortunately, he eventually meets his deserved fate.
