The highly anticipated web drama "The Forensic Examiner Song Ci" has just released its drama schedule. The story revolves around a group of young individuals who unite to unravel mysteries, while carrying a sense of duty towards their country. The series premiered today (December 26th) at 18:00, with five episodes available for members. For the next 10 days, two episodes will be updated every Monday and Wednesday, and one episode every Tuesday and Thursday. Non-members can watch the first episode and enjoy daily updates for 11 days from Monday to Friday. The drama consists of 25 episodes and will conclude for members on January 11, 2024, while non-members can catch the finale on January 25th. The male lead, Sun Zeyuan, previously participated in the music talent show "Produce 101: Season 2" and starred in the comedy film "Take My Brother Away." He also played the lead role in the TV drama adaptation of "Ten Years Late." The female lead, Zhang Xinyu, may seem familiar to viewers as she portrayed Xian Ge in the drama "Guardian's Heart." Her performance in that role was remarkable, and she has gained popularity for her overall portrayal. She is known for being devoted and sincere towards her best friend, assisting her in times of need. In the drama, she asks for money to help her friend Yanhui and also demonstrates kindness towards the supernatural beings. Zhang Xinyu has also appeared in the hit drama "Love and Redemption," playing a cameo role as Xiang Liu in a scene where Xiang Liu disguises himself as a girl to meet the female lead, Xiaoyao. Her portrayal of Xiang Liu was impressive and well-received. Considering her previous roles, her acting skills are highly regarded, and it will be interesting to see her performance in this drama. As for Song Ci, many of us have seen adaptations of his stories during our childhood, such as the TVB version of "Justice Bao" and the mainland Chinese series "Song Ci, the Grand Examiner."
