Love Triangle Drama: A Story of Instant Attraction and Complicated Relationships
The drama can be roughly summarized as follows: it's a story of a male third party who falls in love at first sight with a girl who already has a boyfriend. However, my viewpoint is that the male protagonist's appearance merely accelerated the demise of the unsuitable relationship between the female protagonist and her boyfriend. Even without the male protagonist, the relationship between the female protagonist and her boyfriend would likely not have had a favorable outcome. It's just that the handling of the situation needs to be done with great care, as a slight misstep can lead to a major disaster.
The TV drama handles the situation cleverly. On one hand, it sets up the inner struggle of the female protagonist between "herself" and the male protagonist, while on the other hand, it portrays the various negative impacts of the female protagonist's boyfriend on their relationship as a couple. This makes the audience naturally inclined towards the male and female leads. Whenever the male and female leads meet, it's often accompanied by snowfall, and their encounters bring them unconscious joy, with the background music perfectly matching the cheerful mood of their meetings.
As of now, I have watched up to the fifth episode, and the interactions between the two characters have remained within the boundaries of friendship. Their actions have not crossed any lines, but their thoughts have indeed "wandered". This brings us back to the classic question: does emotional infidelity count as cheating? In fact, if we put aside other factors, this theme is very realistic and resonates with many people's psychology. Whether in love or marriage, it is inevitable to encounter someone who evokes feelings of attraction. Whether the relationship can be sustained or not depends entirely on one's own choices and handling of the situation.
As for the future plot, I boldly speculate that once the female protagonist thinks it through and realizes that the current relationship is not what she wants, she will break up without hesitation and choose the male protagonist. As of now, it's still worth watching.
