Cheng Bing's Wife Ran Away, But His Daughter Came Back: The Story of The Lonely Warrior
Chapter 01: Cheng Bing's wife may have left, but his daughter returns
Even before Wang Eryong died in the interrogation room, Cheng Bing's wife, Liu Wen Fang, had been demanding a divorce from him. To be honest, Liu Wen Fang was the most disappointing among all the family members. While her husband risked his life for the society, she only cared about herself.
Especially after Cheng Bing was falsely imprisoned, Liu Wen Fang had the opportunity to explain the whole situation to their daughter, Tong Tong. However, she allowed Tong Tong to hate Cheng Bing without knowing the truth. Fortunately, Miao Miao, being understanding, directly approached Tong Tong and revealed the truth to her, giving Cheng Bing a chance to make amends.
Chapter 03: Qi Shu's misfortune, despite not being a work-related injury, and his son's transformation
Qi Shu's luck was also quite unfortunate. He used to be the captain of the Second Brigade and the support team for The Lonely Warrior. If he had been present, the incident that led to Wang Eryong's death in the interrogation room would never have happened. However, on that particular day, Qi Shu ran out of his medication and went home to take it. Little did he know that such a decision would lead to a major incident.
What's even more lamentable is that he suffered a sudden cerebral hemorrhage due to receiving a phone call about The Lonely Warrior's incident. However, since he collapsed inside his house, it couldn't be determined as a work-related injury. So when Qi Shu passed away, it was considered a death due to illness rather than a death in the line of duty.
Nevertheless, the fortunate thing is that Cheng Bing paid off Qi Shu's son's gambling debts, and the son made a firm determination to turn over a new leaf. The ending of "The Lonely Warrior" may seem tragic, but in reality, it is a satisfying conclusion. We'll see you in the next installment for more details.
