Five-star review, it turns out that domestic TV dramas can be so well-made, and even science fiction can be portrayed so realistically. The BGM team is truly amazing, every piece of music is fantastic! The only thing I have to say is lacking is Wang Chuan Jun's dialogue delivery, it's always unclear and vague.

I suddenly realized that I forgot to mark my progress after finishing the series! It's been 8 months, and it feels like I might have missed out on the most authentic experience. I can only write based on my memories now. The entire storyline is really good, and Liu Cixin is truly amazing. The adaptation is also well done, with many scenes that are truly breathtaking. I can still remember the part with the Panama Canal, and the behind-the-scenes at the end was truly shocking. That's the charm of artistic work, and the cast was also excellent!
I've had the Three-Body Problem trilogy sitting at home for a long time without opening it. After watching this series, it really makes me want to immediately finish reading the last book and explore this Three-Body Universe.

I watched the series after reading the original work, and the storyline was very faithful to the book, which is great. However, if someone watches the show without having read the book, the plot wouldn't really appeal to the audience. Whether for fans of the original work or new viewers, the pacing is too sluggish. I even watched it at double speed and still found it slow. This might be a common problem with Chinese dramas, but the fact that they stayed true to the original work in the adaptation is already a significant improvement. ???

After watching this, I completed the Three-Body trilogy. It's a masterpiece... "This is the sunset of humanity." "It doesn't matter, it's all the same." "Move forward, move forward, at any cost." "Lose humanity, lose a lot; lose animalistic nature, lose everything." Weakness and ignorance are not obstacles to survival; arrogance is.

I haven't read the original work, but I've heard its name mentioned many times. It's indeed a bit difficult to understand without having read the book. I'm not familiar with the actors, but after watching this drama, whenever I see some of the main cast members elsewhere, I still associate them with their characters from this show. Even though I should be thinking about other characters in historical costumes, my mind is filled with Wang Miao... Wang Miao... Perhaps this is a lingering effect of successful character development, haha.

I haven't read the original work. At first, I found it a bit obscure and hard to understand, but once I got into it, it was fine. The pacing in the beginning could be a bit faster, and the special effects were really poor, which made me feel awkward... Also, during the scene where the guzheng plan slices the ship, why was there no background music at all?! Such a stunning moment, and it felt so dry?! It even diminished the impact of the scene! Other than that, I think everything else was okay. Personally, I feel that Ye Wenjie's storyline was portrayed the best.

After watching so many adaptations of the Three-Body Problem, I have once again confirmed that it's really difficult to adapt it well for the screen. However, regarding this drama, I feel... ???! Zhang Lu Yi deserves praise? And there's an original storyline too? Sorry, but I have to subtract stars for that. What on earth is Mu Xing supposed to be?? ? I beg you, can't you stick to the original work? If you can even somewhat faithfully reproduce the original, it would already be a huge relief!
(Note: The of "Mu Xing" is maintained as it is for lack of context.)

The adaptation remains faithful to the original work, and the casting of actors is solid. The pace of the later episodes is a bit fast, but it doesn't have much impact. Some of the scene productions are truly on par with big-budget films, with exceptional quality (the guzheng action scenes). The third installment is quite challenging, so I'm not having high expectations for it at the moment. Looking forward to the second part, let the music play on and the dance continue!

One point for Yu He Wei, one point for Zhang Lu Yi. What kind of directing is this? I watched 8 episodes at 2x speed and then gave up. The excessive use of ineffective flashbacks is truly nauseating. The shaky camera and eerie music make it feel like a horror film. And what's with the repetitive and low-information dialogue? Three episodes wasted on a countdown, and there are just too many flaws. The book is good, the story is good, but the adaptation is lackluster.

When the fundamental principles crumble, will you still have faith? Physics ceases to exist! Will you continue on? Mind-blowing! True to the original! It reveals crucial issues the world faces, seeking external solutions. However, seeking help from a more advanced civilization doesn't necessarily mean higher moral cultivation. Therefore, we need to live on like locusts—indestructible, unyielding, and everlasting.

The TV series initially appeared a bit rough and unnecessarily mysterious, but as the story unfolds and gradually unravels through two separate timelines, it successfully clarifies the mysteries and sets the stage for a grand narrative. When I saw the guzheng in action, I couldn't help but think that Professor Wang Miao could never have imagined that the nanotechnology he had been researching for years would become a deadly weapon. The portrayal of the characters in the series is quite well-rounded, and my personal favorite character is Shi Qiang. He's a bit melodramatic, a bit passionate, and has a resilient spirit that can't be crushed or worn down.
