Surprisingly good! Huang Jing Yu is adept at playing such roles, exuding a natural and charismatic charm. The other male actors also have good looks. The plot is solid, effectively capturing the seriousness and precision of firefighting work. As an excellent workplace drama, it breaks my stereotypical view of "firefighter uncles." In addition to the dangers and dedication associated with the profession, it highlights the professionalism and career aspects of modern firefighters, such as Lou Ming Ye, who brings back advanced equipment from abroad, and the new generation firefighter Shao Yi Jiu. Chief Lin and his comrades bravely advance against the fire, balancing their personal lives and firefighting duties. It's truly an inspiring and passionate story.

I really can't stand these dumb idol dramas disguised as professional dramas... No matter how they try to elevate the value, it's an insult to this profession. The only redeeming aspect is that the rescue scenes are decently filmed, but it's a waste of money and the pacing is terrible. Huang Jing Yu can only barely fit into roles that match his image, and where did Zhang Jing Yi, the Southeast Asian coconut-selling girl, come from? Unlike typical firefighting-themed films and TV dramas, this story focuses on the daily rescue operations of the Pinghe Road Special Service Station. I just want to mention one thing. Does the entire fire brigade become useless without a structural engineer? If that's the case, does every fire brigade have a structural engineer? Does every building at the scene have one? Don't firefighters need to learn about it? Was it not taught? If I were a firefighter, I would really want to ask the person responsible for reviewing, "Did you fail to save your own house from a fire? "?? As I continue reading, it just feels like I'm encountering one small annoyance after another. What a waste of time.

The storyline of the male lead is passable, but the storyline of the female lead is completely lacking. The combination of firefighting and the entertainment industry is completely disconnected. It's a far-fetched concept. I read the comments section of the original work, and it's only rated around six out of ten. Moreover, it's supposed to be a romance novel, but in the drama, the priorities must be reversed. As for the issues with the script, they are even more significant. It's like two parallel lines that occasionally intersect, not as good as the previous setting with Yv, where the firefighter and the doctor at least had some connection through their work. And now, four episodes have passed, and there's no clear main storyline, no growth direction for the two characters. You can't just have more than thirty episodes of promotional education. So, even though I haven't watched that drama, if it's a one-star, this one would be two stars. The only advantage is that the male lead's acting is more natural and grounded. As for the female lead, although she can distinguish the characters, her image and temperament are all off. There's a constant look of disdain on one face and a constant look of suffering on the other. Her performance is average, and the dialogue is also lousy.

I was quite looking forward to it before, despite the whole marketing hype. But the result is just... meh. Huang Jing Yu shouldn't take it as a compliment when people say he's serving in the entertainment industry.
Isn't it basically saying that he has a limited range and every character he plays is just a copy-paste job? His acting doesn't require much skill; it feels like he's following a formula. And the dialogue is lackluster, isn't it, leading lady? Does she have any acting skills?

Now I understand what it means by "the bell rings, and they respond in a second." Firefighters are truly on standby and ready at all times. After watching two episodes, the biggest realization is how incredibly difficult it is to be a firefighter. Besides the dangerous task of firefighting, they also have to deal with trivial matters among the public (like rescuing a cat stuck in a tree). Every firefighter works hard!

I have only watched two episodes so far, and I'd like to share my thoughts. First, the rescue scenes are all realistically portrayed, aiming to make the audience feel the thrilling and dangerous atmosphere as if they were there. The cinematography and dialogue are very compelling. Second, the members of the firefighting team are well-rounded characters. They are not stereotypical. There's Lin Lu Xiao, the tough guy; Lou Ming Ye, the rational one; and Yu Qi Lei, who values scientific approaches. Each person has their shining qualities.

Each member of the fire brigade has a distinct and vibrant personality in private. During the earthquake rescue, it's easy to remember each one of them. The actors are fully committed and their overall performance is seamless. The details of the rescue efforts are incredibly authentic, from the dust on their faces and the mud on their hands to the bloodstains. When they collectively rush to the front line in critical moments, the adrenaline is truly off the charts.

The drama starts off with a strong impact, giving it a cinematic and documentary-style feel. The authentic effects achieved through on-location shooting cannot be replaced by studio sets. In the very first episode, it presents the harshness of an earthquake and the hard work and sacrifice of firefighters. The individuals trapped during the rescue process are quite representative, and the singing boy evokes a sense of heartache—so young, yet so strong. It's been a while since I've seen such a realistic portrayal of a profession. I hope the drama can maintain its quality in the later episodes. For now, I'll cautiously give it four stars.

I haven't watched the entire series, so I won't give it a rating. However, because I had a good impression of the main characters, I watched a few episodes in a row (I rarely watch this genre of Chinese dramas!). I just want to comment on the script. The opening rescue scene was too long. I understand the need to establish the male lead's inner logic, showcase the greatness of firefighters, and introduce the supporting characters and their emotional connections with the male lead. But I feel that this type of scene should be gradually integrated into the main storyline, rather than presenting it all at once. Having a large chunk of exposition like that can easily lose the audience's interest. It would be better to establish the dynamics of the main characters first before diving into these scenes. The everyday life at the fire station is quite interesting, but because each character's personality feels very much like a short video (I don't know how to describe it, but they have representative and clichéd traits, incorporating various internet memes), the ensemble cast ends up being both entertaining and mundane at the same time. In any case, I will continue watching for the sake of the main characters, but the loosely connected subplots might make me fast forward through non-main character scenes.

It's a very realistic workplace firefighting drama that pays tribute to those who go against the tide. They are the heroes who safeguard the lives and properties of the people. Perhaps if it weren't for Nan Chu, it would be difficult for me to watch TV dramas with firefighting themes. After watching it, I find myself laughing at the camaraderie of the comrades at the Ping'an Road Special Operations Station, feeling anxious for them as they rush to the scenes of disasters, and saddened by the sacrifices of the heroes. When I reached the end, I couldn't help but wonder why there had to be an empty seat in the ending, with sorrowful expressions from the male lead's comrades portrayed by Nan Chu, but no appearance of Nan Wang Jin Xiao in the same frame. It's hard to explain that as a satisfactory ending.
In fact, I recommend watching this drama. Nowadays, accidents of various kinds are becoming more and more frequent, and those of us who don't understand how to respond to disasters can gain some experience through the firefighting lessons in the credits.

Just want to make a comment. Is the female lead a reincarnation of the Fire Deity? The probability of encountering fires seems like she's boosting the male lead's performance. Other than that, it's quite enjoyable to watch. It's down-to-earth, and everyone knows how to express their feelings in relationships. He is a firetruck driver. One night, he went to the countryside to fight a fire. The sky was pitch black, and the road was narrow. His truck was the largest in size, but he couldn't afford to waste time. With determination, he bravely drove forward, with half of the wheels hanging on the edge of the road...
One day, I called him, and he sounded downcast. He told me that the day before, one of his comrades was trapped under a collapsed wall at the fire scene and suffered a serious back injury...
Another day, he called me, casually mentioning that they had helped someone open their door that day. It was a high-rise residential building, and they had to climb through the balcony to enter. In the end, the residents complained that they had damaged their security net...
Let's not idolize these individuals. Nobody is perfect, and everyone has their flaws. But what cannot be denied is that when our country and people needed them, they shed blood and risked their lives for the nation and the people. They are deserving of our respect!
Salute to these unsung heroes of peacetime. ???

It's really great, among recent firefighting-themed shows, this one feels the most authentic! Who says the male and female leads must always survive until the end? Who says there can't be deaths among the main characters? Being a firefighter is inherently dangerous, and it's not guaranteed that the male lead always emerges from the flames. Even if it ends tragically, it can still be a good drama!
Swift Farewell1 year ago rating:9.5
It's so tear-jerking! Although it's not very similar to the novel in terms of names and the beginning, the drama has its own merits. It portrays the reality of firefighting so well, it's simply amazing. Ah, the ending is obviously a "be" ending, who says it's a "he" ending? I'm really in a hurry to argue with anyone who thinks otherwise.
Everywhere you look, there's a sense of tragedy. The main actors sacrificed so much, but silently in my heart, I hope they become a "he." In the end, Nan Chu didn't even dance, and they didn't go in separately because I couldn't bear to see Lin Lu Xiao sacrifice. There's also no epilogue of them eating dumplings, only the ending with the kiss. I've never heard of a fireproof cover.
And that part in the drama with Yang Zhi and Li Lei, it was so touching. When Yang Zhi was about to jump off the building, Li Lei's voice came out. Other dramas pale in comparison. I also want to say, don't blindly change the script for the sake of sublimation.

Huang Jing Yu is a perfect fit for the role of a chosen firefighter, almost always appearing without makeup. He embodies the character well. Zhang Jing Yi's lines and acting leave much to be desired, perhaps because Nan Chu's character development becomes a bit inconsistent later on. With the sacrifice of Vice Captain Yu, Da Gang, and the constant foreshadowing of Lin Lu Xiao's sacrifice, this drama deserves a five-star rating.

Lin Lu Xiao deserves all three stars for his portrayal of the character, and the depiction of the firefighting profession was well done. It seems like the director isn't skilled at directing romantic scenes, as there was no chemistry between the characters, and it deviated a lot from the original work. I don't know if it's because I'm too easily moved, but almost every episode has moments that make me want to cry, especially the last episode. When one is in trouble, support comes from all directions. It reminds me of the Chongqing forest fire, where a young man rode a motorcycle up the mountain to deliver water to the firefighters. Every ordinary person has their own greatness, and firefighters are also ordinary people. They have families, wives, children, and elderly parents. In front of them are the forest fires, while behind them are the warmth of countless homes. Originally, all they wanted was to protect their own families, but this profession has burdened them with greater responsibilities.
Sacrifice and disability are the noble testimonies of their dedication. Everyone has a responsibility to protect their own lives and to love themselves and others. By doing these things well, we can minimize the troubles we bring to them. Life belongs to the country, but the heart belongs to you. The unique nature of their profession allows us to see the challenges faced by every family member. They have to face more than we do. Salute to the heroes, salute to the most admirable people!

It was very touching, and those people walking towards the flames were truly heroic.

The romantic storyline between the main characters did not dominate the plot, and that's a positive point. The dialogue is a bit stiff, and there is a lack of chemistry between the main couple, but the flaws are overshadowed by the strengths, especially in the firefighting aspects. It showcases glimpses of real-life cases, including earthquakes, collapses, fires, the explosion in Nanwan Port, building explosions, and the final forest fire. That forest fire reminded me of the previous one in Chongqing. The line "We face the forest fire ahead, while behind us are the lights of thousands of households" instantly brought tears to my eyes.
The show also bravely portrayed the stories behind many firefighters, including their unity in training, the support of their partners, the helplessness of being forced into debt when their family members suffer from illness or injury, and the sacrifices and disabilities they face. The firefighting knowledge shared at the end of each episode is excellent. It is one of the best firefighting-themed dramas I've seen this year.

It's probably a 3.5 for me. Although I haven't read the original work, it's definitely a modern idol drama that was forcibly turned into a documentary about firefighters. The romantic storyline between the main characters wouldn't even be enough for two or three episodes if it were cut out. The characterization of the female lead is also quite weak.
The firefighting-related educational content is well done, and the large-scale scenes are professionally shot, but the plot is really crappy. Characters like Xu Zhi Yi and Ran Dong Yang, who are annoying, cause trouble in the beginning and then suddenly reappear later on. And Chen Yi Long's ending is just casually mentioned and not satisfying at all.
I don't understand why so many characters had to have such tragic stories. The last few episodes made me cry and go through several tissues. It was both sad and frustrating. Yang lost a leg, Lao Yu sacrificed himself, and Da Gang became a courier and sacrificed himself while saving others. I hate this pretentious and profound ending.
After reading other people's analyses, it feels like there are valid arguments for both the male lead dying and not dying. But the fact that there is such a big controversy over this crucial point is enough to show that the director is terrible.

The storyline of the firefighters is great. I like how the romance of the main characters doesn't dominate the show, but it gets tiring when the male lead keeps saving the female lead. This is a great firefighting drama, and Huang Jing Yu is really suitable for this kind of role. I even learned some firefighting knowledge from it.
The only downside is that a few episodes had somewhat cumbersome romantic storylines. Also, there have been too many so-called open-ended endings this year, like Firelight, which is a firefighting drama (although the ending wasn't necessary), but even those uninteresting idol dramas have open-ended endings. I've decided that from now on, for dramas that are not at the level of "Furious Speed," I'll wait until the ending is out before deciding whether to watch or not.

With their individual missions and a strong sense of social responsibility, their relationship intensifies and develops as the main plot progresses, making them the most beloved couple in the drama.
What is a firefighter? In everyone's eyes, a firefighter is a hero who solves all our problems. And with the popularity of this drama, everyone's respect for firefighters has increased even more. Ahem, even someone like me who is usually indifferent can't help but feel a bit anxious for the firefighters as I watch the scenes unfold.
Lastly, I unilaterally declare: The most passionate character of the year - Lin Lu Xiao, the captain of the Peace Road Special Service Station!
I've tried watching it several times, but I just can't get into it. I can't continue to follow the series. Whenever I think about Nan Chu turning into Zhang Jingyi like this, I simply can't accept it. Besides, Zhang Jingyi's voice acting is really not praiseworthy.
I truly don't understand what the current standards are for selecting female leads in TV shows. It seems like even basic aesthetics have been abandoned.
Looking forward to the fourth collaboration between Huang Jingyu and Director Tianyi☆*:.。.
o(≧▽≦)o.。.:*☆ Excited for the TV drama adaptation of the popular online IP novel starring Huang Jingyu and Zhang Qianyi.
It started filming on September 9, 2022, in Changzhou! Can't wait to see Huang Jingyu portraying firefighter Lin Luxiao????????????. The drama also features actors Wang Ziqi, Tang Xiaotian, Zhang Linghe, Zhao Xun, Zhang Jin.
When Nan Chu dances, there is a strong sense of power. Seeing her completely immersed in her own world, spinning and bravely venturing into the entertainment industry for the sake of the dance club, she appears gentle and elegant, but deep down she is incredibly stubborn.
The contrast is striking. Every time Nan Chu and Lin Lu Xiao meet, it's so thrilling. It's hard not to fall in love.
They take the initiative when necessary and show care when needed. It's also great that we can learn some firefighting knowledge along the way.
An excellent promotional video!
This TV series is really worth watching by many people. It focuses less on romance but excels in portraying the firefighting aspect. It provides a comprehensive and insightful depiction of firefighters, and while watching the show, I was deeply moved by the stories related to firefighters multiple times.
It is an exceptionally outstanding TV series.
After this drama, I am willing to call him actor Huang Jing Yu. He made us believe that Lin Lu Xiao once truly existed. Whether in a parallel world or not, she will always be the eternal moonlight in our hearts.
This is the everlasting charm of actors in shaping their characters. A certain teacher who always boasts about his military background wouldn't understand. He can only bring me joy through his performances on the small screen.
Lastly, I want to shout out, please let Huang Jing Yu continue to serve in the entertainment industry. If he must portray morally ambiguous characters, he can even challenge the role of an assassin...
This drama is really great. There have been quite a few TV dramas with firefighting themes, but this one is very realistic and closely reflects real life. I really love it, so I hope for more, more, and more episodes. Lastly, I hope there will be more TV dramas like this, which are grounded in reality.
After finishing watching the ending, I was dumbfounded and deeply shocked. There were so many setups, and I thought the retired captain or Yi Jiu from the novel would be the one to sacrifice, or even the flag that had been set up numerous times by Da Liu.
But unexpectedly, it was Lin Lu Xiao who turned out to be the one. The protagonist's halo disappeared in the final moment, and I am truly stunned.
Gentle, brave, shattered, and powerful. For the first time, I saw these words embodied in a single person.
In the vast expanse of snow and the pristine mountains, he was like a deity, devouring the forests with his raging fire.
He also engulfed the moonlight of Beixun, illuminating every inch of the land in Lu Mountain.
The female lead inexplicably turned into a dancer, frequently engaging in awkward dance performances. I couldn't understand it, and halfway through, I felt like giving up.
It's the first time I've seen firefighters working so hard. I always thought they were only responsible for extinguishing fires and dealing with earthquakes.
However, after watching this drama, I realized that they also handle many small matters. They are willing to dedicate their lives to firefighting. When they go on missions, their family members live in constant worry, never knowing if one day they might become a martyr.
Here, I salute the heroes who emerge from the flames! You've worked hard!
One breath for six episodes! It's really enjoyable! Huang Jing Yu is so handsome! We don't need the main female storyline or the romantic plotline! It's boring and dull. I'd rather watch a 40-episode firefighter story. The biggest flaw is the main female storyline!
It's really ugly! Firefighters are truly great! They deserve our respect! May all firefighters be safe and sound!
The plot is average and gets three stars. The main characters are not solely focused on romance; they have their own pursuits, careers, and ambitions, and there is a sense of chemistry between them. The fourth star is for the firefighters, adding an extra star, especially for the last scene about the forest fire.
The screenwriter didn't have to write it that way, as it made the plot melodramatic.
Overall, it's still okay. Each firefighter is portrayed with depth and complexity, and the firefighting scenes are particularly engaging.
Huang Jing Yu doesn't wear makeup in this drama? He looks even more handsome without it. No wonder he's a man who served in the entertainment industry. Although iQiyi wanted to make it a firefighting educational drama, I just want to see them fall in love.
Huang Jing Yu's masculine charm and sexual tension are off the charts. Zhang Jing Yi feels like an accessory in this drama... As a firefighting drama, it doesn't meet the standards. How many times do they have to rescue the female lead from the fire?
Is it really a good idea to turn a romance novel into this kind of firefighting drama?
1. The team managed to turn a Jinjiang romance novel IP into a firefighting ensemble drama, which can't be considered a typical male-centric drama, and they even killed off the male lead...
2. The firefighting aspect is sincere and well-executed.
3. The entertainment industry, romantic relationships, and the female lead's dance club parts were either poorly done or unnecessary.
4. There are casting issues with the female lead. Except for the last dance segment, her movements don't resemble those of a professional dancer, even though there are many actresses from the Beijing Dance Academy who could have been chosen.
5. In fact, this series is enjoyable, but it's unrelated to the female lead. Lin Lu, Xiao Lou, Ming Ye, and Jiang Ge Lin Qi are all enjoyable to watch.
6. I'd like to add that Huang Jing Yu's acting skills have improved.
Of course, through this drama, we get a deeper and more detailed understanding of the daily lives and rescue operations of firefighters. I hope everyone can learn and understand more about fire safety, protect their own lives, and also show more appreciation for firefighters.
There's no denying that there are many details and logical issues, but the flaws don't overshadow the beauty. I'll be passionate and outspoken about it—I think the drama is even better than the book.
He walked out of the flames and then walked back in. The responsibilities, ideals, and social realities of firefighters are portrayed very well and naturally.
Even though, as a television series, it may not reach a perfect score artistically, it has touched me deeply and sincerely.
Zhang Jing Yi's lines are terrible. She speaks completely out of context and with an inexplicable sobbing tone. I've seen her in previous works, and the issue with her dialogue wasn't this obvious.
After watching two episodes, I really question the character design of the female lead. Did she really have no other choice but to sign a 10-year contract without even thinking, just because she couldn't pay the rent?
Could it be a trap? She signed it happily without giving it any thought... Huang Jing Yu has always been handsome, no need to say more. And you two seem to have a lot of coincidental encounters. So many coincidences...
The later parts are quite good, especially the emotional bond between the firefighters, which is touching. The screenwriter didn't need to kill off such great characters.
Lin Lu Xiao's dream girl +1, Huang Jing Yu's acting is really good. The firefighting scenes are quite professional, and firefighters work really hard. However, the plot setup is not well-thought-out, forcefully linking the male and female leads, with the female lead causing fires wherever she goes...
And then there's the terrible ending, trying to appear clever but actually being rubbish, why go for an open-ended ending, dragging it out unnecessarily...
Huang Jing Yu always looks good in roles related to military personnel. Whether it's a special forces soldier, firefighter, soldier's offspring, or officer, he always delivers a captivating performance. I reckon he would even look good in historical costume dramas.
Just consider it as a professional drama and refrain from viewing it as a romance film because the romantic scenes were terribly executed. Zhang Jing Yi is normally an actor who meets the passing grade, but in this drama, she didn't stand out at all.
On the other hand, Huang Jing Yu successfully shaped his character, making me believe that he truly is Lin Lu Xiao. He's truly the chosen one for the role of Lin Lu Xiao. However, I have a complaint. Why does someone always have to be sacrificed to showcase the greatness of firefighters?
The firefighting storyline is excellent. The screenwriters really don't know how to handle romantic scenes; there are hardly any well-developed female characters, and most of them feel like mere tools.
The female lead starts off okay, but then either becomes love-struck or a disaster magnet like Teacher Tianyi. Promise me, in the future, no more romantic storylines. Stick to pure military or workplace themes instead.
