It's been many years since I watched a sweet domestic drama. I'm usually a fan of Korean dramas and have been following them for ten years. I haven't found anything that can attract me, which is quite awkward. But then I came across "Nan Feng Zhi Wo Yi" and oh my, it has that charm! It's truly romantic, the OST is beautiful, and the intense gaze... Fu Yun Shen is so charming. The subtle expressions are captivating, the voice is pleasant to listen to, the drama is engaging, and the pacing is impressive. This drama is worth my time and attention!

I rarely watch idol dramas. I used to watch Korean dramas, but this drama unexpectedly gave me the atmosphere of a Korean drama. The male lead looks great in modern attire, and I really love how he acts cute towards the female lead. It's incredibly adorable. The chemistry between the male and female leads is also very strong. In idol dramas, we need handsome male actors and beautiful female actresses, and the male actors must have a touch of romance. I beg Cheng Yi to please bless us, the audience, with more modern idol dramas. He's so young and handsome, can't he film more of them for our enjoyment?

The beginning is really good, it has a strong Korean drama vibe. Although the styling is a bit old-fashioned, it's still watchable. Moreover, the pacing deserves praise. It quickly dives into the plot without any nonsense. It has the taste of the ancient novels I used to read. And I must say, the trope of reuniting after breaking up is truly timeless, haha!

So sweet, so heartwarming, so handsome, and so anguishing. Cheng Yi's portrayal of Fu Yun Shen has finally arrived. The plot is not clichéd at all, which is extremely rare in idol dramas. The scenery is beautiful, and the set design and costumes are top-notch. They released five episodes on the first day, and it was incredibly captivating. The later plot remains exciting, with the male lead getting injured in a car accident and unable to walk. Cheng Yi portrays his despair and anguish perfectly. I heard that before filming this scene, he went on a strict diet, cutting out oil, salt, and sugar, which made his muscles appear loose and flabby. Moreover, he has never used this incident to promote himself. Such a talented actor is truly rare among the young generation of mainstream stars in the entertainment industry, isn't it? The original dialogue lines are also heartwarming, probably because Cheng Yi himself has a very warm personality. In an interview, the second male lead mentioned that Fu Yun Shen's character is about 80% similar to Cheng Yi's real personality, except for the tsundere part. Who wouldn't love a tall, handsome, loyal, and playful boyfriend like Fu Yun Shen?

Firstly, the real-life shooting filter is normal and is already superior to most current idols. Secondly, the development of the romantic relationship between the male and female leads is very natural and not melodramatic. Additionally, the female lead is intelligent and adorable at the same time. Lastly, the emotional scenes between the two main actors are quite compelling. This is a low-budget but well-crafted production.

When you click on the profiles of the haters in the comment section, it's always the same few fans. They give one-star ratings to everyone except their own favorites. What's the point? It just makes you all look petty. I've been following this drama all the way through, and I feel like it was made with a lot of care. The romance between the main characters is sweet, giving off a Korean drama vibe. I recommend it to those who enjoy watching romantic dramas.

It's not just an ordinary idol drama, nor a naive and sweet story. Its core actually lies in giving voice to millions of ordinary people, the busyness and hardships of healthcare workers, the sacred duty of saving lives and helping the injured, the inner anguish of disabled individuals, the helplessness in the face of others' mockery, and even the wealthy have their own frustrations. Despite being born into a prominent family, Fu Yun Shen maintains upright values, respects women, doesn't treat emotions as transactions, respects life, and is genuinely kind-hearted.

The characters are vivid, and the male lead's performance withstands scrutiny. The female lead's current portrayal is also impressive, and the assistant plays a harmonizing role in the story.
The visuals are exquisite, and the use of natural landscapes is well thought out. Apart from the broken opening scene with Yun Shen, the overall tone of the drama is bright and comfortable, giving a healing sensation.
However, the plot carries a hint of tension, especially since the beginning includes intense scenes that make one wonder when the joyful moments will end.
A particularly pleasant surprise is the theme song of the drama and the accompanying music. The insert songs are also great, and they create a strong sense of immersion when they play.

I really don't want to judge which of the two mothers is the third party. That would let their scumbag father off the hook. But no matter how disappointing Lin Zhi is, at least she hasn't caused harm to anyone's life. Jiang Shu Ning, on the other hand, is so malicious that she will definitely face consequences.
I took a look at the dedicated fan group, and they are furious. The fans of the male lead are too extreme. They blindly defend him, even going so far as to blame Fu Xi Zhou for not bringing his mother to the wedding when Jiang Shu Ning tried to provoke Lin Zhi. I bet if Cheng Yi played the second male lead, you would have a whole different set of arguments.
Fu Yun Shen is indeed innocent, but at this point, if Fu Xi Zhou doesn't seek revenge, then he truly isn't worthy of being a son of man.

I don't quite understand the male lead's motivation for going to USA. It feels like he has a bit of a cleanliness obsession and doesn't prioritize his career very much. I don't quite understand why he would choose to go to such a backward place. If it's just to develop the story there, it feels a bit forced... And the local setting feels quite backward, with frequent power outages, but they've added a lot of night atmosphere lights to create a romantic ambiance for night scenes, which makes it feel less authentic...

He's a bit arrogant, but kind-hearted. He can be a bit spoiled, and he's handsome and wealthy. He's a plant scientist who knows about medicinal herbs. Who wouldn't want to meet a prince like him? Regardless of the plot, just looking at Cheng Yi's looks in this drama is satisfying enough. Moreover, Cheng Yi's acting skills are commendable. From the two different bathing scenes, his obvious lean physique reflects his self-discipline and high expectations for his character. He has never let the character down.

The overall quality of this drama stands out among contemporary idol dramas. Initially, I watched it solely for the romance, but it offers much more than that. The scenic shots in the drama are exceptionally beautiful, indicating a highly professional production team.
At first, I thought the filming took place overseas, but after checking, I discovered it was actually in Yunnan. The location is truly stunning.
I want to emphasize the acting skills of the cast. I've watched many dramas where you can tell the actors are performing, but the male lead in this drama genuinely surprised me. There were several scenes where I doubted whether the director had given him the script or even the lines because his portrayal was incredibly authentic. It felt so true to life, without any trace of overacting. This is the first time I've witnessed such acting in an idol drama, and it left a deep impression on me!

The first scene of the first episode shocked me. I truly admire Cheng Yi's acting skills. Sitting in a wheelchair, he twiddled with the pendulum of a clock, depicting a sense of despair, killing time. The helplessness of being seen in such a miserable state by his former lover, and the anger displayed as she approached—every frame showcased excellent acting skills. I genuinely felt the journey of Fu Yun Shen's emotions. I know there are many mindless critics out there, but it's okay. Cheng Yi, you're fantastic as an actor.

I used to enjoy watching modern dramas too. Yunnan is beautiful, and of course, the people are even more beautiful. There are some interesting conflicts, sometimes tsundere, sometimes warm, sometimes sunny. Fu Yun Shen is truly captivating, and listening to Cheng Yi's original voice is also delightful. Now that I've reached the part where Fu Yun Shen becomes wheelchair-bound after the car accident, he seems even more charismatic. Moreover, I've noticed that Cheng Yi looks younger the more I watch him, like a high school student.

It far exceeded my expectations. Initially, I thought a drama from three years ago would be outdated and awkward, but it turned out to be surprisingly good. Of course, the main reason is that I'm someone who values appearances, and I can appreciate the good looks of both the male and female leads. I hope there will be more handsome men and beautiful women in future films and dramas, bringing joy to this beauty enthusiast.

It's really good. The acting skills of each actor are excellent. Fu Yun Shen goes from being proud at the beginning to having his hopes dashed after the car accident. However, he did make efforts in between. He tried his best to recover seriously, but later he became disappointed over and over again. Then he went to Heidelberg for rehabilitation and met Zhu Jiu, who became his family doctor. Step by step, Zhu Jiu helped Fu Yun Shen gradually come out of his shell.
This drama is really captivating. Although it's already a drama from three years ago, it's much better compared to a contemporary drama that aired during the summer break.

I'm about to finish watching "South Wind Knows" today, and countless times I've sighed and thought, if I were Zhu Jiu, I would have abandoned Fu Yun Shen many times. But it's easier for spectators to see clearly than those involved, especially since Fu Yun Shen is so outstanding—he can cook, has stable emotions, and provides emotional support. He's wealthy, good-looking, and knows how to create romance. I definitely wouldn't easily give up or forget about someone like that. This drama is really good and it's perfect for settling down and watching it slowly. It touches on family, love, friendship, the suffocating love of a mother who thinks she knows best, which makes things difficult for Fu Yun Shen. On one hand, it's selfishness, but on the other hand, it stems from genuine love. The romantic storyline in this drama feels a bit stifling to me, probably because there are too many setbacks and hardships standing in front of the young couple. That's why the final "happy ending" feels so precious. As for friendship, the relationship between Shi Ge and Zhu Jiu can also be considered a form of friendship, and it's really heartbreaking to see Shi Ge's ultimate fate. Shi Ge, promise me that you won't let love cloud your judgment anymore, and in the next life, you must become an excellent doctor. Lastly, I want to express my gratitude to all the actors in this drama for giving us a modern series that's worth watching. Thank you for accompanying me through the autumn of 2023.

The scenery and actors in the TV drama are fantastic. The overall values portrayed are very positive, and though the pacing is slow, it is still decently controlled. When you have a 10-episode love script and need to stretch it to 40 episodes, it's quite an accomplishment to maintain consistent quality from start to finish. The screenwriter demonstrates great management skills. Although the theme deviates a bit, there are intriguing plotlines in various aspects. The details of romantic relationships are adorable, and the portrayal of war and family bonds is particularly touching. The protagonist can't be described as a hero or an ordinary person, nor can they be seen as a victim. They embody a reconciling and inspiring figure, neither from the lower class nor a domineering executive, but rather a benevolent and misunderstood soul by their loved ones.

I really, really love Fu Yun Shen. Thanks to the adaptation of the drama and Cheng Yi's portrayal, we now have this kind-hearted, optimistic, tsundere, lovely, and devoted Fu Yun Shen. He can navigate between his girlfriend and his mother, and the love he constantly reciprocates with Zhu Jiu.
I have to say, the drama version of Fu Yun Shen is the perfect boyfriend that I can only wish for. His handsome face, his adorable clinginess, the cutest little sweet bean. He selflessly puts himself in danger when needed. Who wouldn't be moved by that?
They say romance is a utopia of fantasies. This drama, this book, they pile up the cruelest and most melodramatic realities, and then weave an unparalleled beauty out of it.
In reality, everyone is a victim and has caused harm to others. Some choose revenge, some choose guilt, some choose competition, some choose avoidance, and some choose resolution. The harm has already been done, the wounds cannot be healed, but once we see clearly and let go, a better tomorrow awaits.
But I still worry. I don't know how long Fu Yun Shen, who was already physically fragile, can live after being shot. As long as he is happy, I will be content.

This drama has become a bit melodramatic. The repeated injuries and entanglements are getting exhausting to watch, and the intergenerational conflicts and grudges are also overly melodramatic. It feels like the plot of those overly dramatic novels I used to read. Thankfully, Cheng Yi's looks and acting skills are quite good. He looks incredibly handsome in this drama, which kept me going and eventually finishing it, despite the numerous ICU scenes. It's just too tragic to see characters in modern dramas constantly getting injured and coughing up blood. Also, the unexpected character development of the second female lead is quite decent. The things she says during arguments with her mother were quite surprising. She's not a malicious supporting character, and her values are pretty upright. It's just a case of unrequited love for her, which makes me feel a bit sorry for her. She's a great girl. And the grandmother character is truly wonderful. I couldn't help but cry when she passed away.

Cheng Yi's productions are absolutely top-notch, haha. I've always watched his historical dramas and never really delved into modern ones, but this time it turned out to be a batch of heart-wrenching scenes. I have to salute his way of selecting scripts. If it's not a tearjerker, he won't take it. His acting has layers and is incredibly captivating. Also, to be honest, Ji Si Lang is the male second lead I dislike the least.
He feels so genuine and straightforward. The storyline with his brother, Yun Shen, is just average, nothing exceptional. In conclusion, Fu Yun Shen is incredibly overpowered, damn it. He's so handsome, and the more I watch, the more obsessed I become.

It's a pleasantly surprising drama. I didn't expect the production quality to be so good, and Cheng Yi looks great in modern attire. His performance in the drama feels so natural; he doesn't seem like he's acting and portrays the character of Fu Yun Shen, a little angel.
The more I watch this drama, especially in the later episodes, the more I realize that the female lead's acting is superficial and lacks depth. She can't fully match the male lead's performance. In terms of the storyline, they keep torturing the male lead repeatedly, which breaks my heart. However, I genuinely adore that dark and secretly longing little cripple character.

This plot is truly melodramatic! When the female lead changes her workplace, her senior brother immediately follows her! The problem is, she changes her workplace 3-4 times! It's really ridiculous and a waste of talented actors! It's headache-inducing to watch, with melodramatic plot elements like car accidents, broken legs, revenge, and the public affairs of a family enterprise. If the southern wind understands my intentions. Love is beautiful, love can conquer all, whether it's Fu Yun Shen or Zhu Jiu, remember to be happy at all times. I really liked the ending, when the student went to Zhu Teacher and said, "I am Fu Yun Shen, Zhu Teacher's boyfriend." No matter what they went through, he would still be that boy who can act spoiled and be a bit willful, rather than losing his playfulness after experiencing so much. After all, a person's true character remains deep within. Zhu Jiu's life seemed like a constant battle with the Grim Reaper, from her parents to her grandmother to her senior brother. She's still just a little girl. In that moment, her beliefs crumbled, but even when she was on the verge of losing consciousness, she still saw Yun Shen and heard Yun Shen. Love truly is supreme. 2. The main characters have good values. They don't manipulate emotions and communicate openly without misunderstandings.
3. Overall, the plot is cliché, with the typical conflicts and grudges of a wealthy family. The storyline is somewhat flat and lacks appeal. The chemistry between the male and female leads is not as interesting as the dynamic between the male lead and his assistant.
4. The ending felt forced and overly happy. The mother suddenly agrees to the relationship between the male and female leads just because she's no longer competing for inheritance rights? And the brother suddenly doesn't hold any resentment?

It's still a bit melodramatic, the kind of story that only exists in novels. The more I watch, the more bored I get. The drama that was filmed a few years ago doesn't seem suitable for airing now. It would have been better if it was aired back then. The male lead keeps getting hurt, enduring various injuries for the female lead. The methods used by the male lead's mother to hinder the relationship between the main couple are also quite cliché.

It's quite poorly made. The female lead doesn't look like a doctor at all, and the male lead's sickly makeup looks very fake. Why does someone with a leg disability have so much makeup on their face, it looks like it's been plastered on the wall? The whole drama is repetitive, and the constant portrayal of the semi-permanent illness is really tiresome. The emotional foundation between the male and female leads is also weak. It feels like they fall in love for no apparent reason. The male lead's mother is incredibly annoying, the more you watch, the more irritating she becomes. The entire drama is fake, clichéd, melodramatic, and slow-paced. It's rare to find a drama, especially a modern one, that makes you want to watch it at double speed from the first episode. It was a struggle to finish watching it, and if you're not a Cheng Yi fan, there's really no need to watch it.

Originally, I had no interest in modern dramas, but I watched it because of Cheng Yi, and it turned out to be quite surprising. Cheng Yi's portrayal of Fu Yun Shen was both proud and deeply affectionate, showing me a new type of "domineering CEO" (strictly speaking, he's not exactly a domineering CEO). It really suits the sweet atmosphere of Shanghai ❤️. His values are upright, and he truly respects relationships without using his own marriage as a bargaining chip. Zhang Yu Xi's acting in this drama is also good, especially the parts with her grandmother, which were very touching. Fu Xin Bo handled the complexity of Fu Xi Zhou's character very well, allowing viewers to feel the complexity of his emotions and empathize with him. Li Xin Ze, who played the role of the adorable assistant Chen Le, left a deep impression despite having limited screen time. The characters Ruan Ruan, Zhi Zhi, and Senior Brother Ji Si Lang in the drama all have upright values. There is no melodramatic love triangle or malicious supporting characters, making it a comfortable watch. The drama created a great atmosphere, especially in the snowy scenes. Cons: Personally, I felt that some parts of the plot in Episode 39 felt padded, and there were pacing issues that led to a rushed and somewhat sloppy ending, as if they were rushing to meet a deadline. The overall pacing felt somewhat inconsistent.

When I read the novel, I cried my eyes out, but this TV drama couldn't even make me shed a single tear. I even felt like the main characters didn't love each other at all. There was no trace of affection in their eyes. And then there are the male lead's fans who keep sending unrelated barrage comments, completely disconnected from the actual plot. It's all just excessive praise for the male lead, which really breaks the immersion.

3.5 out of 5. I really like Teacher Cheng Yi, so I watched "South Wind." First, let me criticize the poorly executed death scenes that always break the immersion, as well as the messy plot. Today, I watched the highly anticipated finale, and it was truly suffocating.
Once again, I was touched by Cheng Yi's dedication. His acting is natural and nuanced, making me feel like I've experienced a love story with all its ups and downs, fractures, redemption, and healing. Fu Xin Bo's performance was also quite unexpected, and even the supporting actors had many shining moments. The female lead is beautiful, and her acting has improved, but she doesn't quite match the depth of the male lead's emotions. In several crucial scenes, her emotional expressions felt formulaic, making it difficult for the audience to empathize. As a result, many times I saw comments saying, "I shed more tears than the female lead," or "The male lead's dedication is more intense than a fever.
The script has some flaws. The male lead goes through various injuries, surgeries, and illnesses, as if he were a broken doll. The main point is that Cheng Yi's performance feels genuine, which is why I watched with a heavy heart. Every time he gets hurt, falls ill, or sheds tears, I have to pause and take some time for emotional recovery. I've developed a preemptive PTSD response to avoid the parts where the male lead is tormented.
This genre doesn't quite match my taste, but I love Qi Qi too much, so I immersed myself in the drama. Yes, I love it, so I feel deeply for it.

The scenery, lighting, visuals, portraits, and BGM are good. Little Zhu Jiu looks beautiful, and Zong Zhengming is quite handsome here. I didn't recognize them at first.
The beginning was both outdated and captivating, and all the character designs were great. But at some point, it suddenly became inconsistent and resembled a PowerPoint presentation. The plot is actually quite extensive, but the main and subplots are poorly differentiated, making the intense plotlines boring to watch.
I initially liked the second male lead couple, but later on, they felt overshadowed. The interactions between the male and female leads were scarce and superficial, as if they were tools to advance the plot, while the second male lead couple was portrayed with more depth, resembling the main storyline. What I wanted to see was the romantic relationship between the male and female leads, not others.
Regarding character design, it was good in the beginning, but I'm not sure if it deteriorated too much later on, resulting in a lack of depth for the male leads. How can they be considered "su" characters? The first male lead breaks up when he wants to, reconciles when he wants to, acts stubbornly, and arrogantly believes it's love. Zhu Jiu's grandma left her to endure the pain alone, and then when her own grandfather passed away, she suddenly realized she wanted to reconcile. Similarly, the second male lead, at the crematorium, gives a bouquet as if chasing after his wife... In reality, it's impossible to go back to someone like that.
The early stages portrayed a "su" male lead, but later on, the character lost their development and depth. The female lead acts rational when she should be emotional and emotional when she should be rational...
The ending feels rushed, forced, and hastily completed, with a mix of tragedy and a forced happy ending.

There are a bunch of mentally unstable characters driving the plot in this drama, like the second male lead and the male lead's mother. The male lead constantly suffers from beatings, illnesses, and accidents, yet he has a deep and tortured love affair with the female lead, amidst a chaotic mix of business battles, medical storylines, and philanthropy. It's a complete mess, overly melodramatic, and I really got annoyed with the second male lead in the middle. He had way too much screen time. And in the end, the second male lead and the second female lead actually end up together, which is just absurd. And to top it off, I only found out at the end that the drama's title refers to the second male lead. It's such a pity for the male and female leads. Cheng Yi's early performance was lacking and overly focused on being cool, and Zhang Yu Xi finally learned to manage her expressions and didn't break character much. But the storyline itself is truly terrible. Giving it a passing grade is probably just for the sake of the male and female leads...

The beginning of the drama was stunning and captivating, but if they had removed the continuously melodramatic plot in the middle, it could have gained an additional star. The business acquisition and counter-acquisition felt like child's play. The screenwriter, in order to create more episodes of misery, insisted on having the young couple break up. Zhu Jiu's Grandma passed away, and the male lead didn't even offer any comfort. What kind of logic is it that they must break up? The male lead's halo instantly diminished. He has the energy to engage in business battles, work as a psychologist, negotiate with the government, and even rescue the female lead in a car chase while getting shot, yet the reason for their breakup is what? Xiao Qiang is afraid of burdening the female lead with his health issues. Isn't that nonsense?

Ah, such a cliché and cheesy plot, but I can still get hooked. The male lead's double eyelids make me feel so awkward. After watching it, I noticed the Lianhua Tower scene, and it seems like he's using double eyelid tape. I wonder which brand it is; it's so discreet. The dialogue is also lacking, and the pauses are oddly placed. The female lead's acting skills are truly indescribable, sigh~ The plot just revolves around tormenting the male lead over and over again. Does Cheng Yi accept any script that doesn't involve blood packs, whether it's a historical or modern setting?

After finishing "Lotus Mansion," I started watching "Boss Fu"! But if it weren't for Cheng Yi, I might have dropped the drama long ago. Three stars for the plot, and an additional star for Cheng Yi. After watching the entire series, I couldn't help but ask the screenwriter and editor, what did you write, and how did you end up editing it? The screenwriter didn't write anything well, and the editing made the plot fragmented and chaotic. I'm really disappointed for Cheng Yi's acting skills. Additionally, the female lead is beautiful, but there's no chemistry with the male lead, which breaks the immersion. Now I'm looking forward to "Heroes' Aspiration" next summer!
Seeing Fu Yun Shen sitting in a wheelchair, lifeless like a stagnant pool of abandoned self, tears flowed from my eyes as if they were not my own.
Is this still the sweet and warm-hearted sweetheart who loved to act spoiled like the sun?! Fu Yun Shen, who didn't give up hope even when trapped in a cave and losing consciousness, has now given up on himself. Because he can no longer protect his loved one by her side, it hurts him more than killing him. This is a spiritual torment for Fu Yun Shen. From now on, he binds himself in unrequited love and struggles in a bitter, fluctuating journey...
Just one smile from you can completely captivate and bewitch me.
Cheng Yi's lines are as bad as ever, he mumbles and can't speak clearly, Zhang Yu Xi's acting is also terrible. Idol dramas are not synonymous with being low-quality, I don't understand why the female lead has to be written as a surgeon, and even the writing is not good, and the acting is completely off...
The entire drama feels like a disconnected PowerPoint presentation, the emotions are forced, and the transition from being in a wheelchair to standing up is treated as a joke.
Let's just have handsome guys and beautiful girls dating without feeling embarrassed...
How can someone who seems so dull in variety shows suddenly deliver lines so smoothly in acting?! Handsome, but that's not necessarily a good thing for an actor. It would be good to have more variety in his roles.
I started watching what I thought was a sweet drama, but the sweetness came too early.
Later on, I found myself watching his brother's remarriage and mature first love? She has to teach you how to love her and also teach you how to love the world? (A terrible father, but your grandfather who raised you and your younger brother love you very much.) It's quite intriguing!
Moreover, with such a horrible father and a malicious mother, theoretically, they shouldn't have produced a male lead like him...
I started watching the entire drama because of a behind-the-scenes clip, and it has a distinct Korean drama vibe. The male lead, Cheng Yi, delivers an explosive performance. He portrayed the injured scenes so realistically that it moved me to tears.
There are many memorable scenes throughout the drama that are worth following. The director also has a great eye for capturing beautiful real-life settings. While watching the series, you can also appreciate the exquisite scenery.
The whole drama has a nostalgic feeling of old Korean dramas, and I'm determined to keep watching for Cheng Yi... It starts getting better from the third episode, and the scenery is quite healing~ Finally, I can obsessively admire Cheng Yi's modern outfits~ The plot is a bit slow, but whenever I start losing focus, Cheng Yi's handsome face pulls me back in~ It starts getting better after the ninth episode, when the focus shifts to their careers.
The earlier romance scenes didn't really resonate with me~ Cheng Yi's acting after the car accident was so good, it made me cry~
I gave it five stars because I like Cheng Yi, but honestly, the plot of this drama is really not good. Despite giving it five stars, in my heart, the plot is worth only one star. It's a terrible drama, and it's infuriating.
The plot doesn't match the efforts of the actors and the production team. I don't know if it's the screenwriter's fault or the producer's fault, but couldn't they have worked on the plot properly?
The plot is so bad that it can't be salvaged by anyone.
As for the rest of your message:
Truly a yandere, yet adorable.
Apart from the beginning being somewhat engaging, the details of the romantic relationship are quite good! However, the later plot feels forced and inconsistent. The mother of the second male lead manages to find a connection with the first male lead even when crossing the road, and the first male lead indirectly causes the death of the second male lead's mother!
The screenwriter should focus more on the details of the romantic relationship!
The plot of this drama is just so terrible. Car accidents, spleen removals, gunshot wounds—everything happens to the male lead. And there's this absurd mother character. It's unbelievable that the writers came up with such a setup.
Haha. The plot is also dragging, I had to watch the whole thing at 2x speed . It's the worst drama I've watched this year.
I hope that everyone who finishes watching this drama will have a stronger belief in love.
Respecting a loved one is openly declaring a sense of respect to their family and friends, a sovereignty of devotion. Fu Yun Shen's memories intertwined with the pain of betrayal from loved ones is a heart-wrenching wound. How can someone as kind and loving as Fu Yun Shen endure such pain?
He aspires to be a good noble family who can use anything as a bargaining chip. Despite the coldness of family ties and the freedom of wealth, Fu Yun Shen possesses such deep affection and intimacy. From being able to enter the laboratory for research to being able to step into the kitchen and cook for his grandfather, who wouldn't love someone like Fu Yun Shen?
After finishing watching:
1. I watched it because of Cheng Yi. Both the male and female leads are handsome and beautiful. The male lead looks so cool in his black tactical jacket.
5. There are too many elements being portrayed: international humanitarian aid, business warfare, and romance. It's too scattered.
Not very enjoyable. The plot is cliché, and no matter how much the male lead gets hurt, he miraculously recovers as if nothing happened. The story feels padded, with certain scenes being repeated multiple times.
Is it just to fill the runtime? No wonder it took so long for the drama to be released; the quality is simply lacking. Overall, it's not worth taking seriously.
Although it may not be perfect, it's still one of those romance dramas. However, the underlying theme is quite good. It's not just about love for the sake of love. Fu Yun Shen's deep affection, Zhu Jiu's bravery, Fu Xi Zhou's inner conflicts, and Ruan Ruan's love—all of these aspects are self-evident in the world of the wealthy.
The scenery and the acting are all on point, no issues there.
It's a fantastic drama. Cheng Yi's acting is top-notch, and veteran actor Qin Pei also delivers a great performance. Fu Yun Shen is a character who is full of kindness and idealism. Due to certain events, he becomes somewhat obsessive and stubborn, but he is a person with a strong personality and clear opinions.
Cheng Yi's nuanced acting brings Fu Yun Shen to life.
Comment:
As for the rest of your message:
Cheng Yi's only current partner performs very naturally and is very approachable. The makeup, scenery, and acting are stunning, but the editing of the pants scene leaves much to be desired...
The interactions between the male and female leads are filled with sweet kisses, but it feels like I'm watching a PowerPoint presentation. However, based on the behind-the-scenes footage, the actors and directors are not the problem; it's the editing that falls short.
It's a shame because it could have been on par with Korean dramas, but it suffers in the editing department!
If it weren't for being a fan of Cheng Yi and wanting to see his performance in a modern drama, I wouldn't be able to watch this garbage storyline for even a minute. There are so many flaws in it.
Apart from the scenery and costumes being passable, it's completely unworthy. You can mute the sound and subtitles and watch it like a silent color film, and the viewing experience will be much better.
Well, how should I put it? Some episodes of this drama are not even worth watching, while others are somewhat okay. The male lead is handsome, and the female lead is beautiful, so it's visually pleasing. However, the storyline is really outdated, especially the car accident, sibling rivalry over inheritance, and mother-in-law and daughter-in-law conflicts.
They are all so cliché. But I really liked the part with the grandmother and the female lead. It reminds me of my own grandmother, who is even better than her. Alright, I've finished another brainless drama.
Both the male and female leads are outspoken, which is good. The filters used are appropriate and not overly artificial. The plot isn't particularly innovative, and it drags in the middle; it could be further streamlined.
It's quite remarkable how even as a non-native English speaker, I find the English spoken by foreigners in the drama a bit awkward. The lines of the male lead are rather average. As for the second male lead and his partner, I don't understand how the female character easily turned back to him.
The reason I managed to watch it till the end was to see how ridiculously convoluted and melodramatic it could get!
