This drama, honestly, I watched it because I had a good impression of Cheng Yi after watching "Lotus Mansion." However, the plot is really outdated, too cliché, and overly melodramatic. Why does the male lead always get hurt and have such bad luck? The pacing is also particularly slow. Cheng Yi must have been deceived when he took on this role. It really doesn't match his acting skills. I hope in the future he stays away from this kind of drama. Both stars go to Cheng Yi.

It took three years to film and finally air. The set design and makeup are very reminiscent of Korean dramas, and even the still shots at the end of each episode have a similar style. The plot is also (melodramatic). Xiao Nanfeng is quite cunning, and the Fu brothers, both on and off-screen, share the surname Fu. I really love the orthopedic surgery scenes... Qi Qi, you're so good at acting, don't overdo it (Has the clever director handed Cheng Yi a script full of yandere, imprisonment, and tragic beauty?! Is the romantic storyline just a dream material? Who exactly is Fu Yun Shen involved with?). The familial relationships are also portrayed very well, with the tsundere Fu brothers loving and fighting each other. Although the mother is pitiable, she has been "kidnapping" her son in the name of family, causing constant harm to him. Such "love" is suffocating. The bond between generations, including the grandmother and great aunts, is portrayed, but please don't use the grandmother's knife on me. ????

I watched it for Cheng Yi, and in the early scenes, I unexpectedly felt that he did a really good job, haha, it was adorable, and I could see shades of his character Li Lianhua. However, I still think Cheng Yi looks better in historical costumes. As I reached the end, I would give it a three and a half-star rating. The performances of the main cast were inconsistent, sometimes good and sometimes bad. Their charisma wasn't strong enough, and they didn't captivate me as much as the grandmother did. Additionally, I'm quite puzzled by the drama's title. Why is it about the second male lead? "Nan Feng Zhi Wo Yi Chui Meng Dao Xi Zhou" later I specifically searched and found that the original source material consists of two volumes, with the first volume focusing on the second male lead and second female lead. It's really strange. It feels like the drama used the name of the second male lead for some reason. Well, it's quite baffling. When it comes to this drama, it barely passes. I now find some of the plot points awkward and it's hard to emotionally connect. It was supposed to be a romance drama, but somewhere along the line, something went wrong. I just can't seem to find any sweetness in it.

Zhu Jiu, Ruan Ruan, Zhi Zhi, Chen Le, and Jishi Ge Nainai... The main characters are all great, and it's all thanks to Jiang Shu Ning's deep obsession. However, she can also be considered a victim. Luckily, both brothers are kind-hearted, and everyone is happy and content~
I have no words for the update schedule and editing on Youku. I binge-watched the first 21 episodes in one go, and for the later ones, I skipped through after they finished updating. If it weren't for wanting to see the main characters, I would have dropped the drama long ago. But I persevered and realized it's not your average melodrama. Fu Yun Shen has been through so much, surviving is truly not easy!
I wanted to see more sweet moments between Fu Yun Shen and Zhu Jiu, but unfortunately, there were only a few minutes amidst all the glass shards. It's really frustrating. The romantic scenes between the male and female leads are too few.

I just love watching these clichéd idol dramas where the main characters reconcile and both have sharp tongues. Overall, it's still quite sweet, but the flaws are apparent. I call it a medical miracle how many times Fu Yun Shen has been in and out of the operating room. Did they really have to send him to the operating room so many times? And the English dubbing is truly awkward.

How did the male lead go from a leg injury to having his spleen removed, and then getting shot with a neutron bullet and still be perfectly fine? The screenwriter can really come up with some far-fetched plot twists.
It's always the male lead who suffers life-threatening injuries! And the male lead broke up with the female lead because he didn't know when his heart would stop, so how did he miraculously recover? It feels like it was done just for the sake of having a happy ending!
In the end, the female lead hadn't moved on, so how did she suddenly become fine after five years and accept a marriage proposal? Sigh, it's hard to put into words.

The plot of the drama is just excessively heartbreaking. The male lead doesn't need to get hurt over and over again, suffering for the sake of suffering. A good script is truly crucial. I give three stars for Cheng Yi's acting skills. The storyline feels a bit scattered, and the editing isn't very smooth. Personally, I liked the content of the earlier episodes the most. Later on, it felt like the drama relied solely on the male lead's acting to carry it through.

I dare not imagine how miserable I would have cried if I were in high school (PS: People used to praise Cheng Yi, but I didn't like him, even after watching "Lianhua Building." In this TV drama, he finally feels like a normal person. Maybe it's because there aren't as many fans watching?). I don't like how all the characters are getting whitewashed, especially that mother. I really dislike her.

The plot feels a bit cliché, and there's a lack of chemistry between the male and female leads. The scene setups are a bit off, especially the overseas parts; they look obviously staged. The male lead's lines in this drama are a bit cheesy, and it's hard to clearly hear the female lead's hoarse voice. It might have been more suitable for the era of "Qian Shan Mu Xue.
