She is engulfed in immense sadness and suppressed in darkness. Do her parents not love her? It's not just about her parents' self-righteous acts of kindness that aren't really love. Every time she cries out with all her might, but her parents only have eyes for her younger sister. If they can't even spare a little love for her, then at least they shouldn't have given her any expectations in the first place.
What does her grandfather mean to her? He is a guiding light, a harbor, someone who belongs to her. His departure, for her, is the collapse of the world, the shattering of her heart, and utter despair.
Keep yourself busy, busy to the point where you don't have time to dwell on trivial matters. Many things quietly fade away like that. Time may not prove everything, but it certainly reveals a lot. Have faith in your choices, stay unwavering, run with all your might, and believe that tomorrow will be better.
I'm not curious about anything else, I'm just curious if the real-life Qi Qi ended up marrying Chen Jin.
When I was in my teens and reading the novel, Special Forces Zhang Jun, I thought he was Qi Qi's male lead, and they had to be together.
Looking back in my twenties, it seems like Zhang Jun was youth and regret, while Chen Jin represents the future and the rest of their lives. Xiaobo is memories and warmth.
Qi Qi is herself, a unique and divine entity.
Qiqi's stars were filled with love for Zhang Jun. Zhang Jun didn't know about it until ten years later when Guan He revealed it to him. Guan He is truly cunning, even keeping the necklace for herself.
Qiqi went through a personal transformation, facing everything on her own. The process was incredibly challenging. If she persevered, she would become a great success, but if she couldn't endure it, she would be ruined.
Everyone thinks leaving is for Qiqi's own good, but has anyone really considered whether she can withstand it? True strength can only be forged by enduring all difficulties and conquering all loneliness in one's heart.
Just finished reading the original novel. The changes in the adaptation are quite significant. Well, the novel spans a long period of time, and condensing it into three years of high school in the TV series is indeed challenging.
Moreover, there are certain aspects of the novel that couldn't be portrayed on screen. But in my mind, Zhang Jun is the male lead!
The actors did a great job, and since it's an adaptation, it would be nice if they could give them a better ending.
The novel already had many regrets, so let's not add more heartache in the TV series.
Qiqi had it tough. She treated Guan He as a reliable and supportive friend, but ended up being betrayed and isolated, inexplicably forced to leave. Only she knows how much she cares about Zhang Jun.
He was a part of her future plans, from wanting him to study hard and get into a good university to even knowing about his pen incident. She pretended not to care at first, but from Qiqi's perspective, Zhang Jun also inexplicably left.
How heartbroken she must have been. Sleeping in class every day became her outlet, something that might not be understood by others.
I actually didn't enjoy watching their romantic relationship. The plot mainly focused on studying, and her efforts were always on the right track. But there was one plot twist at the end that drove me crazy. It made me pound the table in frustration, and now I suddenly can't remember what it was.
Something happened between Xiaobo and Qiqi, and it was quite nonsensical. This drama relied heavily on Maomao's character, and Guan He also portrayed his role well. I'm not sure what the others were doing with their performances.
The movie-like visuals kept me captivated, unwilling to miss a single frame. Every character in the story was well-rounded. This is that era, those people, and those events. I loved Tonghua's novel from the very beginning, and I never expected to see it adapted into a TV series ten years later.
Kudos to the screenwriter and production team for their aesthetic choices. The adapted script is even more inspiring. This is how young people should be—youthful, determined, and without regrets in their pursuit of dreams.
It's not that mothers don't love their children, it's just that adults believe the path they provide for their children is straight and right, considering their own life experiences. However, children have their own thoughts and perspectives.
In the past, I used to discipline my nephew, but later I came to understand that he has to walk his own path. Whether it's straight or curved, I can only offer advice. It's up to him to choose his own path in life!
Integrity is the foremost quality of being a person. It is the foundation of how we interact with others and the core of moral character. Integrity is a precious element of ancient Chinese culture and a cornerstone of modern civilization.
It means valuing trust, honoring commitments, and maintaining a good reputation. It also entails loyalty, honesty, and sincere treatment of others.
The novel also had an open-ended ending. Zhang Jun went to the riverside but didn't have the courage to meet Qiqi, so he hid and cried from a distance. Qiqi left a note for Xiaojun saying, "I'll be here until the end, and I mean it." Zhang Shu encouraged Xiaojun to go and keep the appointment, and then the story abruptly ended.
You can cry, but you can't lose. You can feel sad, but you can't be defeated. How will you know how much applause you can win if you don't strive? If you can shout "I don't need to worry about such trivial matters" 20 times a day, you will discover an incredible strength within you.
Give it a try, it works wonders.
I always wonder how lucky I am to have a brother like Xu Xiao Bo. He brought warmth to my entire childhood and school days. The harder I work, the luckier I become. But it also brings more loneliness.
How many peers can withstand such torment? Those who endure and strive are the ones who excel and stand out!
It's just that it's enjoyable to watch, except for the part with Xiaofei in the middle that I found a bit disappointing. Everything else is pretty good. I've learned that I came into this world to see the sun, learned that there are ten thousand reasons to give up, but only one reason to persist.
I've learned to start finding my true self, learned about more possibilities, a different present, and a life of constant experimentation.
I just finished watching this drama today, and it brought back memories of my youth, along with many deep-rooted regrets and dissatisfaction. I really liked Maimai, and it was my first time watching Wu Jia Kai's drama. I quite enjoyed his portrayal of Zhang Jun, especially his rebellious gaze.
He captured Zhang Jun's handsomeness, youthful innocence, and emotional confusion perfectly. I also feel heartbroken for his loneliness, self-doubt, and the sacrifice he made in their friendship. Qiqi will always be the light in his eyes. Although many things can't be returned to the way they were, I still hope that Qiqi and Zhang Jun will eventually come together and fulfill the dreams of their youthful years.
Since it's the irretrievable years of youth, it doesn't necessarily mean we can't meet again! What can't be retrieved is the youth, but we can still meet! With more experiences, perhaps we'll realize that the initial moments were the best!
Even if we meet other people in the future, it doesn't necessarily mean they're the right ones! There will always be something better than what's good, so why can't we move forward together, despite the notion that we can't go back?
Regardless of how things turn out in the end, whether it's good or bad, the past is already something we can't go back to.
