Pang Hong Mei's scene where she sees through Ma San's disguise is so cool! Peng Xiao Ran captures the abnormality with just one look, and her action scenes are swift and decisive, without any dragging or hesitation. She portrays the capable and heroic nature of a police officer perfectly.
What a tremendous improvement by the young actress!

Pang Hong Mei has started making deductive leaps. She reasonably speculates that the time-delay effect of the bomb in the auditorium from earlier episodes might reoccur during a power outage at the hospital. How many times will this show utilize a single detail?

The main characters in this drama are portrayed with great personality traits. Pang Hong Mei is brave and fearless, Ji Dan Yang is exceptionally intelligent, Chen Dong Sheng is thoughtful and meticulous, Bai Hui is kind and gentle, Zhang Yan is decisive in handling matters...
Each character has their own shining qualities, and the supportive and mutually growing relationships between them are delightful to watch.

It's currently difficult to uncover his true identity. Nevertheless, Captain Chen has started to harbor suspicions, so it shouldn't be long before they are able to pinpoint him.

After binge-watching several episodes, I feel like the screenwriter is setting up a grand scheme. There are so many characters involved, and multiple storylines running in parallel.
It's a bit mind-boggling, but it hasn't made me feel confused. I never expected a period drama about countering undercover agents to be this engaging. The writer truly has some exceptional skills.

Every time Teacher Ding Yong Dai appears, it makes me wonder if his kind-hearted persona is just a dream I had. Not to mention, even Bai Hui, the character played by Hong Mei, suspects him.
His expression alone makes anyone feel that something is off about him! His performance can be described as textbook-level acting in portraying a "good person playing a villain.

When Bai Ming Han was recognized by that prisoner, my heart skipped a beat. Poor Hong Mei is going to be misled again. However, she's not someone who blindly follows the wrong path. She will soon realize that there's something deceitful going on.
I'm eagerly awaiting the plot twist.

I just want to ask those who have watched this drama: Do you feel a sense of excitement similar to playing Werewolf? Just when you think you've figured out everyone's identity, new characters quietly enter the scene. My analytical abilities are limited, so please excuse me.

Lu Cheng's bug was instantly exposed by Pang Hong Mei. She's like a humanoid camera, capturing every criminal act without fail, hahaha! Although we still don't know if Lu Cheng is an undercover agent...
but that won't stop me from placing my bet on Hong Mei!

The complementary friendship between Pang Hong Mei and Ji Dan Yang, with their contrasting personalities and interactions, brings all the laughter to the entire drama. The frequency of their banter determines my mood for the day.
But banter aside, when it comes to work, both of them are fully dedicated and engaged.

Finally, I've come across a historical drama where both the plot and acting skills are excellent. Whether it's the young actors or the seasoned veterans, their performances are quite solid. The fact that they deliver their lines with their own voices enhances the immersion.
The pacing of the episodes released so far is also tight and compact. I'm starting to feel reluctant to finish watching because it's so good!
