Having read the novel, I must say that this drama adaptation is a fantastic, fantastic, fantastic, fantastic, and fantastic portrayal. The male and female leads, who excel in various aspects, contribute to the excellence of this drama, unlike many others in the industry that often veer away from the original novel and completely disregard its foundation. As an idol drama, it's understandable that the early stage focuses on the romantic relationship between the main characters, but I hope that the upcoming plot will also ignite some excitement in the billiards competition aspect. ?????

So far, I've watched 3 episodes, and it's quite good. The script, personally handled by Mo Bao Fei Bao, stays true to the novel. The snowscape filter brings back memories of Korean dramas, and the filming locations in Finland are truly amazing. The character images of Lin Yi Yang and Yin Guo really suit Wu Lei and Zhao Jin Mai. This couple looks visually appealing and has great chemistry. It feels like they are destined to be together. I hope this drama maintains the style of a popular modern romance drama and doesn't disappoint in the later episodes.

It's entertaining! The story has a lively and interesting pace, and the visuals are especially appealing. The male lead is handsome, the female lead is adorable, and their acting skills are exceptional. The supporting characters are also natural in their roles. The music is soothing to listen to. It's been a while since I've seen such a genuinely good youth romantic comedy. Ahhh, everyone should go watch it!

I haven't had such delicious lotus root in a long time! The casting is satisfying, and the chemistry between the main couple is very comfortable. The young actors naturally exude a sense of youthfulness and innocence, and the production effectively sets the atmosphere. The director captured Zhao Jin Mai's beauty so well; she can make any girl's heart flutter and melt. Watching it during a snowstorm feels even more fitting now, like a cup of sweet winter wine. It's sweet, leaves you with a warm feeling after drinking it, and puts you in a slightly tipsy state.

Individually, both Leimai (referring to Lin Yi Yang and Zhao Jin Mai) are flawless, but when they're together, there's just no chemistry. They are both too upright and honest. When I heard that they were the top students from the Central Academy of Drama and the Beijing Film Academy, I would rather watch them study. With the heavy snowfall and their incredibly sincere faces, it feels like I'm watching a period drama set in Northeast China.

I totally felt the atmosphere of a blizzard. Who understands the intense look in Lin Yi Yang's eyes when he first saw Yin Guo? It's as if not only the mist on the window was melted by the warmth, but also the swirling snowflakes in the air were melted by the warmth in his eyes.

The chemistry between the male and female leads is quite remarkable. They exude a pure and innocent vibe that perfectly fits the setting of a first love story! I'm absolutely in love with the reserved yet affectionate male lead. Even in a brief conversation, his few words and gentle tone are enough to convey his intentions. I can feel how hard he tries to ensure that Yin Guo doesn't misinterpret his attitude. His always smiling expression is incredibly endearing too. The reason I'm so hooked is all thanks to the pure love atmosphere between the male and female leads.

Can't these malicious reviewers just go away? They haven't even watched it and they're already mocking it based on out-of-context screenshots. It's really ridiculous. The plot may be a bit thin, but it's pure and realistic. It has some minor flaws, and the OST being influenced by connections is indeed unpleasant. The promotion may be lacking as well, but it doesn't deserve such low ratings. The real locations are truly beautiful. I'd give it around eight out of ten. I'm giving it five stars to counterbalance the malicious ratings. I don't want the actors to feel disheartened when they see it. Ma Mai's acting is really good, natural and unpretentious. The chemistry and the state of falling in love are portrayed very realistically. You can tell that they put their heart into it. I advise those who are fueling the fire with just a few screenshots to have some positivity. You can dislike it, but don't be so malicious. Wu Lei might have been too eager to portray Lin Yi Yang from the novel, so those who haven't read the novel might find it inexplicable. Perhaps he didn't have perfect control over certain aspects, but he also portrayed the character with great sincerity and naturalness. Both actors put in dedicated effort to learn billiards without cutting the scenes, which is a great experience for the audience. They are both very young, and I don't want their good performances to be suppressed. To those disgusting actions by the fandom, ordinary viewers are tired of it and just want to enjoy the drama. It didn't disappoint. The beautiful encounter on a snowy night in a foreign land was incredibly romantic. It's good to have a bit of simplicity, without the need for excessive melodrama. Nowadays, it's not easy to make a realistic love drama. This one didn't let down these two rising young actors in their prime.

It was so painful to watch. What bothered me the most is that I actually couldn't continue watching despite liking both the male and female actors. Right from the beginning, what made me extremely uncomfortable was the relationship between the female lead and her younger brother. Despite their similar ages, the female lead treats her brother like a child and showers him with motherly affection. The brother is just a brainless tool used to drive the progress of the romantic relationship. I really can't stand it when, after the female lead clearly rejects him, the brother still buys a plane ticket and chases after a stranger in a foreign country with his sister. It feels like he has never respected the female lead's decisions or her as a person. It's like in this drama, even the passing dogs mentioned by everyone as supporting characters are unbearable. I can't handle this unrealistic, idol drama world. Wasn't the female lead's brother supposed to be a strict teacher figure? But as soon as they become a couple, he turns into a supporting character. They haven't even officially defined their relationship, and he's already talking about marriage to the female lead. It reminds me of that saying, "Parents don't treat you like a daughter; they expect a son-in-law." It turns out that even a brother who harshly educates his sister is secretly longing for his brother-in-law's existence.

The works of this screenwriter are all lacking substance, with boring plots that rely solely on atmosphere. I watched the first two episodes in their entirety, but then realized it's just another pure romance drama with the basketball element being just a decorative accessory. I gave up on it. From now on, I'll avoid any dramas written by this screenwriter. I was hoping for something similar to "Love Only," but it turned out to be similar to "The Way Back Home." I'm really tired of these dramas that focus solely on romantic relationships. The two stars are for the actors and the scenery.

What kind of boyfriend standard is Lin Yi Yang setting? He wants to get closer to the person he likes and knows how to maintain boundaries. He intentionally arranged a dinner with Wu Wei and the others, and even considerately avoided sitting on the same side as the girl to avoid any awkwardness. Is there really such a thoughtful and considerate guy in real life?

Do you know how high my expectations were for this drama?... How did the acting, from the main cast to the extras, end up being so awkward? I don't understand the editing and pacing of this drama. It feels like there are so many unnecessary scenes. I haven't read the original work, so I don't know how the content was originally supposed to be, but the drama itself is just so cringe-worthy...

So far, it feels promising. The emotions are delicate, and there's a sense of chemistry between the main couple! They meet during a snowstorm, and everything waits until the snow stops ☕☺️ Let's observe for now! Let's see how the story unfolds. The only drawback is that the early romantic development between the male and female leads feels a bit odd (with the male lead helping the female lead right from the beginning), and the pacing is a bit slow (for the first 5 episodes).

I can't believe it... The male lead acts like he's in a soap opera with the female lead???? It gives me such a strong sense of discomfort, who can understand it?! We're not even halfway through the updates, and I can't take it anymore.
It's bad enough that the male lead's acting is uncomfortable, but what's with some of the lines? Even if the original author's level is low, can't the screenwriter make some normal revisions? (I was fine after watching the first episode... It's okay, I'll endure.)
I watched until the fifth episode... Okay, I'll endure a bit more. But now, I can't endure it anymore. Wu Lei, if you continue acting like this in your next project, see how many people will mock you? It's time to say goodbye to this path. I can't stand the acting of the 208W who are bad at it. Honestly, if it weren't for my previous fondness for Wu Lei, I would have started criticizing him since the first episode. If it weren't for the cute performance of the female lead, I wouldn't have endured until today. However, today, the discomfort caused by the male lead's acting has pushed me to my limits. This drama, which I had high expectations for, now makes me want to give it a negative five stars? ???
And those supporting male actors, none of them seem to know how to speak properly. Male actors have it easy, don't they? It's such a shame for the female lead and the other female actors.

My OTP (One True Pairing) is just so perfect in every little thing they do. Even something as simple as their pant legs rubbing against each other on the bus has such a romantic ambiance. In the midst of a noisy environment, they quietly lean on each other, unintentionally making eye contact and instinctively looking away. It's all evidence of their love!

I don't know why, but this drama always gives me the feeling of a sleazy man luring a young and thin girl. Some scenes make me incredibly uncomfortable. The male lead always gives off the vibe of being obsessed with taking advantage of the girl at any time and any place. I don't know if I should call it sexual tension or a lack thereof. The OST is also average and not catchy at all. The only highlight throughout the whole series is probably the atmosphere of the Finnish outdoor scenes. The male characters in it are all trying to act cool one after another, but they all come across as immature guys pretending to be mature men.

It's definitely a typical idol drama. Other than providing material for fan edits and derivative works, does it have any real value? The protagonist seems to have no aspirations other than being in a relationship (even though they claim to have a career and dreams on their lips). The supporting characters are just a team of helpers with no real depth, and normal interpersonal relationships and common sense are nonexistent. Furthermore, the outdoor scenes are unappealing, making me wonder if the reason they filmed in Finland was for the creators to have a free vacation on the production's dime.

It's so disappointing. I came across a clip on Douyin (TikTok) that recommended this drama, and it seemed sweet and nice. So, I went to Tencent to watch the first episode, but right from the start, it was just unbearable for me. I had no biases or dislikes towards Wu Lei before, but his acting in this drama really made me feel awkward. It was cringeworthy to the point where it made me itch. Every movement felt forced and unnatural. He portrayed himself as cool and aloof, but in reality, he came across as expressionless with no substantial acting skills.

First of all, San Shi is very handsome, and the snow scenery is beautiful. Secondly, it seems like San Shi's acting has regressed. It's far from being on par with "Just Love." His intense gaze scenes seem like he learned them from Yang Yang. Little brother, please don't follow the path of overacting and being overly dramatic. Lastly, the adaptation of "Mo Bao Fei Bao's" work is lacking in everything except for the atmospheric setting. It's just as boring as "The Road Home.

Within the first 10 minutes, Wu Lei's character becomes a carbon copy of Yang Yang... and the ridiculously cliché hero saving the damsel in distress. The actions of the original book/writer/character, who think they are so cool, are nothing more than the predatory tactics of a hunter under the privileges of patriarchy. When will film and television present me with a sensitive and sincere portrayal of men who help others by first considering and changing their perspectives, rather than "helping" with a hidden agenda?

The drama I watched made me feel like a deer in headlights. After the line, "Can you tell that I want to pursue you?" they still end up in the same shared apartment, making plans to have dinner together tomorrow at what time. They put in all their effort hoping that the audience could get immersed in the story and find it romantic. But in reality, it sometimes feels like you can cut out a segment and pair it with a twenty-year-old commercial with the slogan "You are my Yoli". Other times, it feels like a low-budget atmosphere with pop-up dialogues, choice options, and quest cards from a video game. And Wu Lei's performance is too much like a gentle and unattainable deep closet...

It feels like everyone around the female lead keeps instilling the idea of "the male lead is really perfect for you, how can you resist not falling in love" into her, so they end up falling in love as soon as they meet. In the intimate scenes between the male and female leads, the female lead always has subconscious resistance and repulsive actions, and the male lead's enthusiasm feels like a form of alternative harassment. Is the entertainment industry incapable of even producing pure love stories anymore?

It's a heartwarming romance film that isn't overly sweet. I hope the quality remains consistent throughout the rest of the series. If they film the snowy scenes well, they've already won half the battle. The performances of the male and female leads are very delicate. As a viewer, it's easy to be emotionally invested in the story.

The plot is too peaceful, and I don't like this kind of all-around, considerate, and wealthy male lead character. It's already the modern era, and everyone is supporting each other. Besides romance, there's nothing else. Wu Lei's expressions are overdone, always pretending to be profound. The plot has many instances where it showcases women lowering their guard in an unrealistic manner. Adding an extra star for Ma Mai's natural acting skills.

Boring and awkward, before watching, I thought the chemistry between the male and female leads wouldn't be bad, but their cliché characterizations and poor acting turned everything into a disaster. And why do we have so many irrelevant one-sided love lines between male characters when there is no chemistry or desire shown between the male and female leads? Is this some kind of resurrection of a certain signal in the name of adaptation? It's not like in the 21st century, love scenes should consist of the main characters chatting on WeChat for half the time. With just a single tap from the main characters, accompanied by voiceovers and chat boxes, you could fill half an episode. If you two are planning to have a 38-episode romance in this state, maybe the drama should be renamed "Can Internet Addicts Date Electronic Objects?

They're still producing these feudal idol dramas where male characters are portrayed as superior. The cliché love-at-first-sight, domineering and emotionless male lead, and a female lead who seems incapable of accomplishing anything independently... Not to mention the mediocre and formulaic performances... Little do they know that in the contemporary context, independence and strong individuality are the main theme for young people. The more they say, "Be good, listen," the more greasy it becomes. It's a pity for the two talented actors.

Is this really filmed on location in Finland? I can't stand the uniform and artificial lighting, it feels like a set. The male and female leads are like children pretending to be adults, and Wu Lei's precious youthful energy is completely depleted (trying to be profound but ends up looking like a poor imitation of Hu Ge...). The lack of chemistry adds insult to injury to an already bland plot.

I read the novel a few years ago, and now that they have been officially announced as the main leads, it's even better. These two have grown up before our eyes, from child stars to handsome and beautiful individuals. Their pure aura is captivating. Zhao Jin Mai is sweet and graceful, like a blossoming young girl. Wu Lei, who has excelled in taekwondo, badminton, tennis, and billiards, seems to have tried every champion athlete role. Is he secretly an athlete on the run in the entertainment industry?

I turned off the drama silently at the 28-minute mark of the first episode when the male lead said, "You can try the hamburgers at the train station." No plot, no plot. It's just a pure romance drama. Even the billiards scenes are not appealing. The acting of the male and female leads, who started as child stars, can only be considered average. Maybe the intention was to inform the audience that Wu Lei has made great progress in kissing scenes. The female lead is still the traditional submissive wife, obedient and docile. Isn't the whole thing just about playing games in a different location? My international student friend and I have walked less than 2,000 steps on WeChat this week, and it's all commuting to classes... What a waste of time.

Even if they come from halfway across the globe, they always end up falling in love and getting married naturally. But is that the reality? In the blizzard of time, this drama is reaching its peak. It can be said that it's the best modern idol drama I've seen at the beginning of the year. The quality and atmosphere of the drama are quite good. However, the pacing of the plot has a certain artistic and slow-burn touch, leaning towards daily life. This drama always reminds me of the song "First Love." The two actors were chosen perfectly. Mai Mai's adorable and youthful face, as pure and pristine as snow, can instantly make the male lead fall head over heels. It's particularly convincing. The plot is inexplicable. The female lead and her brother encounter a blizzard and coincidentally meet the male lead at a bar. The male lead invites these two strangers to have a drink and even arranges a taxi to take the siblings to a hotel far away.
Then, in gratitude, the siblings say they want to treat him to a meal. That would have been normal, but by that time, the male lead had already traveled to another city. Nonetheless, the brother insists on dragging his sister to the other city just to treat the male lead to a meal.
I mean, is this something a normal person would do? It seems unnecessary to go to such lengths just to establish a connection between the male and female leads.
Moving on, the siblings travel to the city where the male lead is to treat him to a meal, but he happens to have left that city. So, the siblings end up empty-handed. However, the male lead asks someone else to treat the siblings to a meal in return.
Why are you playing this loop here? It's like an endless cycle of treating each other to meals. Do the siblings have nothing else to do when they go abroad? Are they that idle?
I'm dropping this series after one episode.

I need to take insulin even for the sweet moments in this drama! Lin Yi Yang is constantly attentive to Yin Guo's every move. When he realizes that Yin Guo has to jog to keep up with him, he immediately quietly slows down his own pace.
It's so heartwarming!
Wow... How can the budding romance be so sweet! In the dimly lit pool hall, Lin Yi Yang hesitantly moves his hand forward, gently touching the ball under Yin Guo's hand. When the two balls collide, it's even more heart-racing than physical contact!
As I've gotten older, I've come to love watching these light-hearted sweet dramas. The romantic storyline between Yi Guo and Guo Ye progresses like a rocket, and there are so many supporting characters that add to the enjoyment.
I don't have to worry about anything throughout the whole series, just pure sugar overdose. The viewing experience is uplifting and enjoyable.
Lin Yi Yang gradually brings Yin Guo into his own world, carefully instructing each friend to take extra care of her. He never tells Yin Guo how much he has done for her, but he just wants to give her the best within the right boundaries.
His delicate and restrained affection envelopes her, providing me with a unique viewing experience in the slow-paced, Nordic-inspired lifestyle.
Lin Yi Yang made the appointment at Yin Guo's room door for ten o'clock tomorrow, and the whole atmosphere was filled with ambiguity.
Five stars is what I expected. The first five episodes were flawless. The atmosphere is amazing. The subtle chemistry between the male and female leads is just right.
Opened "In the Blizzard" during a blizzard. Took a glance at the current year and can't believe it's already 2024.
I've only watched one episode, and I really can't say anything good about the female lead's younger brother. Even though he supports the main couple, his behavior is a major deduction. If I had a sibling like that, I would definitely give them a couple of slaps to wake them up.
Wu Lei didn't meet my expectations. I'll watch a few more episodes before making a final judgment.
I feel like Chinese screenwriters hold a very stereotypical bias towards international students. Even if they come from halfway across the globe, they always end up falling in love and getting married naturally.
But is that the reality? Perhaps all these coincidences in idol dramas are just fantasies created by the writers.
The first few episodes were off-the-charts sweet. Handsome male lead, beautiful female lead, and the male lead pursued the female lead straightforwardly... They look perfect together...
It's a very typical modern romance... However, the plot and writing are just like the writer's previous work—lacking depth, pure and simple love story, a lot of cheesy moments...
You have to watch it on double speed to make progress.
Ultimately, when it comes to modern and ancient idol dramas like this, looks are the top priority ☝????. It's a requirement!
☺️
This drama is much better than those bland dramas. Zhao Jin Mai, needless to say, acted very well. Wu Lei, apart from having some eye expressions that resemble staring, hasn't reached the level of Yang Yang's charm.
The drama is quite sweet. Maybe I just enjoy watching these clichés and don't associate them with reality. After all, in reality, where can you find a man who is tall, handsome, excellent, devoted, caring, respectful, and protective of the female lead, and who either gives her a bank card or a house whenever they are together?
Lastly, this drama makes me want to learn snooker.
I painfully endured two episodes with my toes curling. It was so awkward. I haven't watched domestic romance dramas in a long time, but why are they so cringe-worthy now? The dialogue and plot left me speechless.
The only thing worth watching was Wu Lei's handsome face, but even his expressions felt awkward.
What happened, Director Huang Tianren? How could you go from directing "Want to See You" to creating such a stark contrast in quality? I can't feel any sincerity in this production.
Blizzard" shows us the beauty and power of love. Isn't this the emotional value that dramas of this genre bring to the audience? As someone who has been tormented by society for many years, I have grown tired of watching dramas of this kind because I found them childish.
However, "Blizzard" is the first modern idol drama I've watched in 10 years, and I consider myself lucky to have come across such a good drama.
The kind of guy who would behave like the male lead is usually found in the gossip PDFs within our international student circle. (Wu Lei, even in acting, has started dissecting his movements, turning his head, raising his eyes, and then tilting the corners of his mouth.) Friendly reminder: Watching this drama at double speed is approximately equivalent to normal speed.
After watching the first episode that was hyped on Douyin, I couldn't help but increase the playback speed. I abandoned it altogether after the second episode. Personally, I feel that the two most important elements of a TV series are the chemistry between the main characters and a well-executed plot, and this show failed to deliver on both fronts.
It seems that from now on, I'll wait for the word-of-mouth to spread before investing my time and energy in new dramas. It saves me from wasting time and effort. ????
I couldn't stick with it after watching more than half of the episodes. Then, while scrolling through videos, I had a crush on Jiang Yang at first sight. I watched another episode, but it was still awkward. Everyone's acting felt too contrived.
Wu Lei is handsome but trying too hard, and Zhao Jin Mai's makeup is inexplicably unappealing. Maybe I'll check out some edited clips on Bilibili for a better experience.
The male lead seems like a male character created by a female writer, or a male writer projecting himself. The male lead moved two pieces of furniture into the female lead's room, and his friend asked, "Are you planning to give her everything you have in the future?
" (2024 has its own white porridge...
During the "Star Han" period, I loved Leizi a lot, and it was heartbreaking. Don't keep carrying that mysterious and creepy gaze while acting.
The male director couldn't create the kind of CP that female viewers crave. The chemistry between the two leads was dry and lacked any sparks. It felt like they were just acting out "Look how ambiguous we are" and "Let's exchange meaningful glances," but there was no real spark.
Even the 60-year-old bald grandma and grandpa from the next-door drama "Long Time No See" had more tension and energy.
The male lead is getting more and more ??? in appearance and lacks any acting skills. He's disgustingly oily. The female lead's eyes are too bulging, which greatly affects the viewing experience.
However, her acting is better than the male lead. The most fatal flaw is the lack of chemistry between them. They are not familiar with each other, and the plot is bland and devoid of substance.
