Plot Synopsis

In June 1993, the multinational cooperation between Donghai Chemical and Loda Corporation wasprogressing rapidly. Meanwhile, Song Yun Hui, the key figure behind the joint venture of Donghai, was leading the workers inPangyangPesticide Factory to carry out technological reforms, surpassing all aspects of Donghai. Despite being a novice in the field ofpesticides, Song Yun Hui remained true to his original aspiration and tirelessly led everyone in the development of low-toxicity and high-efficiencypesticides, revitalizing the smallpesticide factory that was on the verge of being shut down.

Lei Dong Bao led the merger of Dengfeng Electric Wire Factory with smaller factories, establishing the Thunder Cable Cluster. He set rules,participated in bidding, engaged in foreign trade, and attracted investment, experiencing the ups and downs of human relationships. Yet, he alwaysprioritized the interests of the collective and the villagers.

Yang Xun collaborated with Liang Si Shen to build a shopping mall, taking advantage of the Liang family's connections. In the shadowy world of business, he often struggled between being a goodperson or a badperson, but in the end, he still fought to do what gave himpeace of mind.

Liang Si Shen made every effort to balance the interests of Loda and Donghai in the joint venture. In a minor altercation between Chinese and foreign colleagues, the Loda staff exaggerated the situation and used it as an opportunity to demand Liang Si Shen's resignation. Liang Si Shen eventually compromised, using his own departure to restore safeproduction at Donghai.

From initially being cautious to gradually opening uptheir hearts, Song Yun Hui and Liang Si Shen understood each other's intentions and joined hands to face future challenges. Through ups and downs and ever-changing circumstances, the unwavering spirit of the dreampursuers remained constant in their hard work andperseverance.
