In just a few minutes, a child's father installed that software and was scammed. The police were only a few minutes away from stopping him, but unfortunately, he was either deceived or not prevented in time.
It's really heartbreaking that the life-saving money for the child is gone. It's a sobering reminder for us all.
I watched the first five episodes in one go, and I have to say that this drama has pleasantly surprised me. Despite each episode's short duration, it's evident from the first five episodes that the production of the entire series is of excellent quality.
The visual presentation is on par with high-quality, long-running dramas, making me wonder if the current market for short dramas can achieve such standards.
This high-quality short drama is truly a rare gem among the mass-produced ones.
Apart from the superior production value and visual quality, the plot of the first five episodes is tightly woven. The methods of fraud are portrayed in detail, and the police demonstrate remarkable competence, unlike the traditional slogan-based campaigns against fraud that prove ineffective.
The portrayal of the victims is also relatable and evokes empathy. Once again, I admire the conscientious production team. Furthermore, the overall storyline doesn't solely dwell on the gloomy atmosphere caused by the fraud.
The humorous subplot between Zhong Yi and Zheng Daqian, their mentor-student relationship filled with minor conflicts, adds a delightful touch to the drama. I'm eagerly looking forward to the further development of the plot and will continue to follow it.
Scammers take advantage of the love parents have for their children. If a mother neglects her daughter, the scammer won't be able to make a single penny. Exploiting family bonds like this is often despicable, but it's understandable from the mother's perspective.
It's human nature.
Put yourself in the shoes of having your daughter in such a dangerous situation. When the scammer sends a picture, it's hard for anyone to resist. We can only say that these scamming methods are truly unstoppable.
The scammers have too many tricks up their sleeves, so we must protect our wallets and avoid panicking when faced with such situations.
I binge-watched five episodes in one go. The pacing is really fast, and the emotions are intense. It's fun when it needs to be, and genuinely heartbreaking when it's supposed to be.
The relationship between the master and disciple is very interesting. Can't wait to see what happens next with the falling-out and the death in the martial arts community!
The case of the terminally ill little girl is absolutely heart-wrenching. I cried a whole pack of tears! The quality of this drama is so good that it doesn't feel like a short series.
I wish it could be longer. I need more to watch!
Perhaps TV dramas are not so realistic, but in real life, scammers seize you at your most vulnerable moments. When you desperately desire something, that's when you're most vulnerable. It's easier for outsiders to see clearly than those involved.
The more obsessed you are with something, the more susceptible you are to being deceived. We can seek help from the police, but the prerequisite is to raise our own awareness of prevention. It's better to enhance our self-defense awareness than to rely solely on the police after being deceived.
Self-reliance is always the best approach.
I doubt I could even become a director. No suspense at all. Right from the beginning, you should have shown how the villains carry out their frauds, how ruthless they are, in order to captivate the audience's attention.
Starting off without any clues is just confusing.
If everyone had the same level of awareness about safety as I do, all the scammers would starve to death. I received numerous scam calls in the past couple of years, and I even managed to deceive them out of a few hundred bucks every day.
But now, I hardly receive any scam calls. I wonder if I've been blacklisted by the scamming syndicate.
In this world, there are good people as well as some evil ones. Among those involved in telecommunications fraud syndicates, some are forced into it after being deceived themselves, while others actively participate and organize scams without any moral conscience.
It is important to thoroughly identify and distinguish those scammers who are repatriated to China, and promptly arrest those with criminal records and a history of committing crimes.
I see some of you asking why he didn't call his daughter. Did you really pay attention to the drama? I really want to smack some sense into you. They clearly mentioned signal jammers. Only his phone and the kidnapper's phone can communicate with each other.
They can't make calls to others. When he tried calling his daughter, he couldn't get through, and instantly, the kidnapper called her using a voice resembling his daughter's. No matter who it was, they would believe it.
Without involving the police, the money would have been transferred long ago.
Even though it's understandable that the elderly may not be able to distinguish sophisticated scams, these police officers are also displaying a lack of professionalism. They don't receive proper systematic training and handle situations based solely on personal discretion.
If they were portrayed in TV dramas like this, I suggest they resign immediately and let capable individuals take over.
It's alright, a short drama with the main focus on raising awareness about anti-fraud knowledge. I genuinely sympathize with the people who have been deceived, especially the father of the little girl who was deceived twice.
He even had the funeral subsidy stolen from him. There are so many victims, including the father from Daqian, the mother Zhong Yi. Those who engage in such fraudulent activities, taking people's money and causing harm, must receive the appropriate punishment.
I remember when I was about to enter college, I received a financial aid subsidy. There was a fraudulent phone call that clearly knew my information. They asked for my bank account number, so I gave them the bank account I used in high school, which only had a few bucks in it.
After I provided the account number, the person on the other end asked if there was no money in the account. I said, "No, there are a few bucks." Then the person said they would transfer the scholarship money to me but needed the account to have two thousand bucks.
I immediately hung up and called my mom. My mom asked if it was a scam, and after verifying, it turned out to be a scam. We even reported it to the police. I feel really lucky because if I had stored the tuition fees in that account, the consequences would have been disastrous.
