Is it that the male and female leads come from different worlds and meet in this third world? So, are there three worlds in total??? Firstly, there's the female lead's world in 2025, and then there's another world where the male lead is looking for Xu Jing Yang.
But the police in this third world claim that Xu Jing Yang doesn't exist at all.
The male lead is truly clueless. He has been investigating the disappearance of his friend from everyone's memory for so many years, and I refuse to believe that he never considered the possibility of time travel.
When the female lead honestly admitted being a time traveler, the male lead showed no connection and completely doubted her. But now that it's confirmed the female lead is indeed a time traveler, he starts acting all erratic and even gets demoted?
What struck me the most about the affair was Jiang Xiaoyuan being a wealthy young lady and her participation in the Lighthouse Experiment being a fantasy.
Who would have known? It suddenly brought us closer together, despite our different upbringings. Our pain is somewhat similar, as are our fantasies. During my adolescent phase, I read novels that led me to fantasize about living the life I wanted in a virtual world.
It's as if even as I approach graduation from university, I can't accept the idea of being such a worthless individual. I appreciate the writer's intention in allowing Xiaoyuan to gradually accept her original world instead of time travel or entering a parallel universe.
In this world, even NPCs have their own meaningful persistence. Thank you to this drama, it truly encouraged me. I've been feeling quite emotional lately, but fortunately, I encountered Xiaoyuan and experienced the affair.
Money gives a person confidence. If the female lead before time-traveling could have learned some financial management skills from her father and not followed the male lead's arrangements (which are flawed, by the way), such as the idea of "living for the original life" and the knowledge and skills the female lead acquired— even if the original life returns, she wouldn't have those skills, right?
The female lead could have started with some initial capital and earned money through investments. Isn't that better than struggling with odd jobs? The author's plot has a small issue here. Can't a wealthy heiress know anything?
It's just too much for the sake of establishing the male lead's decisive role in the story.
