Before Yun Wei Shan embarked on her mission, Han Ya Si told her, "Once you complete this, you will be free." The word "freedom" here likely carries a dual meaning:
1. To break free from Wu Feng: This refers to Yun Wei Shan's liberation from the control and influence of Wu Feng, possibly indicating her release from their grasp or the organization itself.
2. To uncover the truth about her sister's death and resolve her inner turmoil: Yun Que's death is undoubtedly connected to Wu Ming(Nameless). The freedom mentioned by Han Ya Si may also imply Yun Wei Shan's journey to uncover the circumstances surrounding her sister's demise, find closure, and ultimately find peace within herself.
I've watched six episodes, and the character portrayal of the male lead is truly distressing. From the very beginning, he firmly believed that the deaths of his father and brother were orchestrated by the Gong brothers. Whenever there is evidence pointing towards the Gong brothers, he is quick to convict them. However, when there is evidence proving the Gong brothers' innocence, he immediately suspects the evidence to be forged and eagerly seeks new evidence to incriminate them. He never considers the possibility that they are innocent. It gives the impression that he is not seeking revenge against his enemies, but rather using the guise of seeking revenge to eliminate those who are different from him.
Is Gong Shang Jue possibly a hidden antagonist? Otherwise, what other forces are there within the palace? Wu Feng doesn't know who killed the executor and the young master, which means the major force outside the palace wasn't involved in this. So, the problem should arise from within the palace. Currently, it seems that Gong Shang Jue is the most likely candidate unless there are other characters yet to appear.
Never in a million years did I expect to witness the true intricacies of female rivalry. The level of difficulty and complexity in the game of female rivalry has surpassed that among the male characters in the same drama. I would even believe it to be a dual female lead drama because the challenges and struggles faced by the female protagonists in terms of life and death surpass the difficulties of the male protagonists' growth and seeking revenge for their fathers and brothers. Therefore, the dramatic intensity is firmly held by the female characters in this story.
Isn't it dangerous for Gong Zi Yu to directly expose the secret passage? After all, there are still Bladeless assassins prepared to strike, and he doesn't seem to intend to identify the assassins. Doesn't that mean he's essentially handing this information directly to Wu Feng?
It's almost the same routine, it seems that the other three families bear the blame for the Feng family's downfall, as the elders mentioned that the Feng family has declined, but they didn't explain why the entire family disappeared... Moreover, they spent decades secretly opposing the Gong family.
The cause could very well be that the Boundless Flowing Fire directly or indirectly led to the transformation of the Feng family into aberrant beings. Otherwise, the disappearance of the Feng family and the origin of the aberrant beings would be difficult to explain...
I thought it was good after watching the first few episodes, but as I continued watching, it became more and more uninteresting. There are only two main characters, and neither of them is smart. Even if one of them was intelligent, it would have made the plot more interesting than it is now.
The male lead is still love-struck, and despite being a skilled warrior, he gives up his position for the female lead and refuses to believe that she is capable and witty.
The more I watch, the less I want to continue. Look at the characters Gong Shangjiao and Shang Guan Qian.
They are both intelligent, yet the main characters overshadow them. It feels like everything revolves around the male and female leads, and nothing happens without them.
The spotlight on the male and female leads in the plot is too strong.
It seems like everything goes smoothly for them.
It was all a setup. The male lead undergoes a transformation later on, and the female lead joins the palace gate to manipulate Shang Guan Qian.
You keep saying that the protagonist isn't intelligent, and then you say that the protagonist has a strong halo. If the protagonist's halo is indeed strong, why not just make the protagonist intelligent from the start?
Wouldn't that make more sense? As for why the plot revolves around the development of the male and female leads, why do you think they are the male and female leads? And, where is the female lead not intelligent?
Do you think intelligence is just about saying a few words like "I'm smarter than you"? Is that how shallowly you watch the drama? Do you understand that the female lead has hidden abilities?
Who goes around shouting, "I'm the smartest," like a loudspeaker and gets manipulated in the first episode?
However, the male lead's shining moments in the early stages were all deleted. It may seem like there are more scenes featuring the male lead, but there are actually more shining moments for Male Character 23.
In any case, my heart aches for Niu Niu.
Alright, only the final episode remains tomorrow. The male lead is still naive and sweet, relying on forced plot twists to make him stand out. Half of the male supporting characters have already been eliminated, and the seamless antagonist is mostly defeated.
Finally, the big boss makes a dazzling entrance. Did the male lead's training in the mountains follow a sentimental and lackadaisical path? In the end, just as the ultimate showdown begins, he is gloriously taken off stage by poison.
Well, let's see if tomorrow can forcefully bring about the male lead's shining moment. After all, throughout the whole story, we really can't do without the matchmaker.
That's why they spared his life in the big showdown, relying on the healer to save the day.
Gong Yuan Zheng, people only know him as a rare genius in drug production, but they don't know how he became such a genius. When I saw him calmly saying that he used drugs on himself to understand the reactions in his body, in order to better develop the antidote, my heart truly ached for him.
He has endured so much, and he is just an underage child after all. Sending hugs.
Honestly, this drama feels quite mediocre. Apart from the good-looking cast, the plot is dragging even though it's already at Level 17, it feels like it's just getting started. Especially in the 9th level, the conversation between the male and female leads lasted for over 30 minutes, and for one level, I spent over 50 minutes just listening to them talk!
There are countless palace gate nameless assassins, and that whole buildup about the poison, only to find out later that it was the antidote? Until now, I haven't seen any growth from the male lead.
As a Bladebearer, he's too focused on love affairs, casually revealing important information. The Three Realms Trial was hyped up so much, but it turned out to be nothing more than a joke. Why not just bring Jin Fan along too?
After so many levels, I still haven't seen any growth. The only noticeable growth is in the relationship between the male and female leads.
The personality of the female protagonist is serene and slightly cold. This coldness serves her personal agenda. She doesn't invest herself in this "game" at all. Her goal is not promotion or the satisfaction of completing tasks; it's the longing for freedom, the desire to uncover the truth behind her sister's death, and seeking revenge.
One thing that I appreciate about Yun Wei Shan is that she is a genuine protagonist in the world of martial arts, without any noble background. She is simply a person caught up in a chaotic era where individual rights hold little value. In this story that lacks perfect characterizations, please allow me to witness how Yun Wei Shan, as a female spy with even a darker side to her image, strives to survive with all her might.
Why is it that Gong Zi Yu, despite his long history of debauchery, still has so many people supporting him? They change the rules, appoint him as the leader of the palace, and everyone dotes on him.
On the other hand, Gong Shang Jiao has always been diligent and responsible for the palace's affairs, facing various dangers. He possesses both intelligence and capability, yet in the end, everyone turns against him.
Except for his younger brother and Qian Qian, my heart aches so much for Gong Shang Jiao. He truly feels lonely, and it breaks my heart. Is it all because one is the protagonist with a halo, and the other is the perpetual second male lead lurking in the shadows?
I hope in unseen places, he can find true happiness.
This is like a conflict between two factions, viewed from the perspective of one faction, creating a bias. Yun Wei Shan can be seen as betraying his own faction. Everyone says Wu Feng is the antagonist.
But in the end, it's a matter of winners and losers. Yun Wei Shan is just a minor character within a faction, like a spy in modern terms. So his death is certain. However, he infiltrated the enemy camp and managed to turn one of the leaders of the enemy faction.
So Wu Feng's reign is not secure, he's just a mid-level character among the minor roles. The true leaders have yet to appear.
The palace is destined to fail, and the strategy of solely guarding one's own territory is definitely not effective. The reasons are as follows
1. Among the existing individuals who can act as "Zhi Ren":
- "角" (Jiao) possesses a strong sense of competitiveness, arrogance, and firmly believes that they see everything clearly. Therefore, even if they are aware of the dangers and risks of external stimuli, they won't avoid them. Instead, they choose to engage with them, even keeping them close by.
- "羽" (Yu) is kind-hearted and naive. They do not agree with the policy of strictly guarding the palace and aspire for the outside world. They cannot focus their attention
2. If the palace has been secluded in one corner for too long, internal members become complacent and restless. Their thoughts become agitated, and their energy cannot be channeled externally, resulting in internal conflicts and a lack of unity among the people
3. External individuals may attempt to sow discord and create divisions among the palace members.
Gong Shang Jue:
Strengths - Highly skilled in martial arts, meticulous in thinking, prioritizes the palace as the first priority, dedicated to protecting the palace and its people throughout life, well-connected with numerous influential allies, receives support from a majority of the palace and its members.
Weaknesses - Proficient in calculations, cold-hearted towards others, ambitious, willing to use any means to achieve goals.
Gong Zi Yu:
Strengths - Emphasizes emotions and loyalty, mentally flexible, naturally talented in martial arts, gentle and kind-hearted, understanding of others, doesn't care about social status.
Weaknesses - Careless and not cautious enough, extremely trusting of others, prone to impulsive decisions when angry, currently weaker in martial arts skills, doesn't prioritize the palace, can be overly naive.
Based on the above descriptions, for the role of Zhi Ren, I choose Gong Shang Jue.
Kindness is the positive energy of life. It is a force that enables us to face all the hardships of life. It is the power that can resolve all conflicts and friction. It is the power that brings peace and happiness.
It is the power that makes the world a better place.
I abandoned the drama as I watched further. Why is it that the more I watch, the more I feel that the protagonist (specifically Gongzi Yu) is not convincing?
Gongzi Yu and Shang Jiao Zheng Yu each have their own areas of expertise, but why does it seem like Gongzi Yu doesn't excel at anything when I look back at the plot?
Besides the label of being loyal and sincere, Gongzi Yu's character feels quite hollow. I haven't seen him make any significant contributions. On the contrary, the later development of twisting right and wrong and intensifying the crisis within the palace...
it just doesn't sit right with me.
In the end, Yunjie, this proud white lotus, couldn't resist her emotions. During these hidden years, I thought Yun Wei Shan would personally kill Gong Zi Yu, achieve glorious military feats, and then be released by Wu Feng.
But I was wrong. This proud plum blossom ultimately fell for the infatuated Gong Zi Yu. The years they spent together created an inseparable bond between them. Gong Zi Yu's unwavering love made her experience emotions she had never felt before.
So, throughout this journey, they arrived at the culmination of love.
