Plot Synopsis

In 2003, Gao Yang, while being transported under guard, seizes apolice officer's gun, causing chaos and accidentally shooting hispartner. He then mysteriously finds himself transported back to 2011, where he receives a call about Chen Xue Ying's kidnapping. Sensing the urgency, Gao Yang immediately launches a rescue operation. Meanwhile, detective Zheng Dong Yu investigates the crime scene for clues.

At the hospital, the rescued Chen Xue Ying suffers a mental breakdown due to childhood trauma. Although Gao Yang is released, he remains silent about the mystery surrounding the disappearance of Zheng Dong Yu's father, Zheng Ying, six yearsprior. Zheng Dong Yu, suspicious of Gao Yang's undercover background, demands the truth.

Chen Xue Ying's kidnapping is linked to Qin Yong, a suspect in a family drug trafficking case from years ago. Gao Yang and Zheng Dong Yu follow separate leads, ultimately converging on Qin Yong's hideout. However, they find him dead, shot by an unknown assailant. The autopsy reveals that the bullet used matches the one found at the scene of Zheng Ying's disappearance six years ago, triggering Zheng Dong Yu's memories of his father's undercover mission.
