Plot Synopsis
"The Case Solver" tells the story of forensic doctor Che Suwei (played by Dong Xuan) and the chiefpatrol officer of the Shanghai ConcessionPolice Station, Gu Yuan (played by Gu Jiacheng), as they join forces to solve cases and eradicate hidden hostile forces within the concession. It's a story of safeguarding the safety of the land.
Within the Shanghai ConcessionPolice Station, forensic doctor Che Suwei and chiefpatrol officer Gu Yuan work together to investigate seven thrilling andperplexing cases derived from the Five Elements. The cases utilize traditional Chinese culture topredict and speculate on thepsychology of criminals during the Republican era. Each story unfolds with twists and turns, shrouded in mystery, while the underlying metaphor of human nature evokes deepemotions and contemplation.

The TV drama incorporates many intriguing anecdotes and phenomena from all walks of life, which makes the overall content more captivating. For instance, the actor playing Guan Gong must "break the face," as not doing so would bring disaster to the performer.
Additionally, elements such as paper dolls summoning spirits, the Five Elements and Eight Trigrams, and various types of spells are interwoven into the cases, adding a slightly eerie and irresistible urge to delve into their origins and details!
Sun Dashuai suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning in the basement. In order to save him, he must first be moved away from the high concentration of carbon monoxide and then receive medical treatment. This TV drama should also have scientific accuracy and not mislead the audience!

This old lady is just a bad person. Why didn't her husband react the same way when their child went missing? If she had just taken someone else's child or an unwanted child and raised them as her own, that would be somewhat acceptable.

The process of deducing the serial kidnapping case involving children was brilliant, and the final lines really struck a chord with me. Life is always filled with various misfortunes and uncertainties, but truly strong individuals can still live optimistically even after realizing the truth about life.
We must continue to strive and prevent such things from happening to others. Yes, that's how life is!
