The young doctor, Chen Hui, has an extraordinary medical acumen but faces doubts and scrutiny from the hospital, patients' families, and even strangers due to his communication barriers. After entering the hospital for medical training, he meets novice doctors Yuan Ye and He Tong, and the three of them grow together, transforming through setbacks into qualified surgeons.
Although Chen Hui has exceptional medical talent and a rich academic background, he has had communication barriers and lacks empathy since childhood. He also has a bit of stubbornness in his character. Instead of reporting for an interview at the hospital asplanned, he encounters a young boy who has been critically injured by falling glass, and his life is in danger. In a desperate situation, Chen Hui chooses toperform emergency treatment on the street. After his intervention, the young boy successfully regains his breath, attracting the attention of onlookers. When Chen Hui finally arrives at the hospital toparticipate in the interview, he faces inquiries and doubts from hospital leaders. Unexpectedly, he starts reciting the medical student oath directly, evoking memories and the initial aspirations of the doctors in the room.
After the three novice doctors officially start their work at the hospital, they encounter a highly unique case. A 17-year-oldpatient is on the verge of death and urgently needs a liver transplant. However, the only matching liver donor is thepatient's biological father, Luo Haitao. Upon learning about the situation, Luo Haitao becomes hesitant because he has remarried, and his current wife is in the same hospital's obstetrics and gynecology department, about to give birth. He is tobetween his expectant wife and their unbochild and his critically ill son from aprevious marriage.

So how much courage does his current wife need to not cause a scene? Is it my incorrect thinking? A perfectly fine family wakes up, and then the husband is gone. Will the hospital take care of the child? The wife didn't even sign the consent form before they performed the surgery.
Even though it's a TV drama, it feels like something that could happen in real life. I just find it ridiculous.
I'm speechless. As an associate dean, why do they have the audacity to defame others without any reason? Let's not even mention the incident with Chen Hui, but Wang Kai has been at the hospital for so long, he's an experienced doctor.
How could he believe it so easily? If it's going to be like this, will there be another report after one? In that case, what's the point of having a surgery department? The medical affairs department should just perform surgeries themselves.
It's really...
In the beginning of two consecutive episodes, it was mentioned that Chen Hui has communication difficulties. So why are there bullet comments saying he can't speak? Oh my goodness. And there's the organ donation aspect.
It's natural to hesitate and be conflicted, especially when you have a new wife who is about to give birth. He has another responsibility now, and if he takes responsibility here, he won't be responsible there.
Some bullet comments say that if it were a mother, she would definitely sacrifice herself to save the child. But just because mothers are willing doesn't mean they have to do it. Let's not idolize anyone.
I have actually witnessed a case of breast cancer before. It was the older sister of my neighbor. She was around 28 or 29 years old at that time when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
I'm not sure about the severity, but they said she needed a complete removal. Since she wasn't married, she was reluctant to undergo the surgery. Her parents and boyfriend were supportive, but she insisted that she would rather die than have a complete removal.
No matter what her family said, it didn't make a difference. In the end, she didn't have the surgery. It seemed like only three months passed, and she passed away.
It's such a pity.
The doctor from the pathology department should not speak like that. My daughter had lymphoma, and it was misdiagnosed, causing a delay of one year. It progressed to stage 4, with high-risk bone marrow infiltration and meningeal metastasis.
She underwent treatment for another year, and during that time, the suffering she endured is unimaginable to most people. It has been two years since she started her treatment. As long as there is a glimmer of hope, we should never give up.
The story is too far-fetched. In the second story, they have the divorced father donate his liver. With such a significant event, they didn't introduce the process of organ donation to the father, the precautions for the surgery, the impact on the donor's own body, the impact on the quality of future life, or the duration of recovery.
They also didn't give the donor any time to consider, nor did they understand the donor's concerns and difficulties. All the doctors collectively engaged in a moral judgment. If I were the donor, I would complain against all the doctors!
The surgical effects and the quality of subtitles are quite similar to American dramas.
